Please start the new jobs at level 1

I just want to clarify some things for people. ^^

1. The "This is a Job not a Class" argument.

This makes me giggle every time. Of course these are Jobs, how dumb do you think people are? But what is the difference between a Class and a Job? A piece of equipment. Sure you unlock it at level 30...

Except for, let's see.. oh yes, the 800lb Gorilla in the room! Burning Crusade, Cataclysm, Mists of Panderia.. they all included new, low-level content. That's 3 out of 5 expansions for WoW.

That's incorrect. The only one of those to introduce new low level content is Cataclysm. And the sole reason for this being that they redesigned all level 1-60 content. Adding an intro area for a new race does not qualify as ''new content'' in this context. (since only the new races can make use of them) So that's 1(none? redesign =/= add) out of 5 expansions where WoW did this.

New content is new content. It still has to be created and coded, and it is still experienced. This is low-level content, and it is new content in a new expansion. End of story.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet (25 pages is too much for me to bother reading through completely) but...

Considering that the 2.55 storyline ended with you basically being hunted like a dog by the Brass Blades it actually makes a lot of sense that the new classes start at level 30. We've been whisked away to the "safety" of Ishgard which is surrounded by high level areas, Coerthas being the lowest leveled area (or so I'd assume) at 30. So assuming these jobs are being introduced by Ishgardians (lots of assuming here, I know) it makes a whole lot of sense in the storyline that they wouldn't be starting at level 1.

You can call it lazy of Square if you want, but I personally don't really mind missing out on the grind. I've already done it with almost every other class, and with a couple classes on an alt, so I think I've got my fill.

Cataclysm is really the only one that has a leg here. Much of the point of that expansion was entirely redoing the 1-58 leveling process, as it felt very weak and boring compared to the new content.

The remake of lvl 1-60 of Cataclysm isn't even included in the expansion, it was available to everyone.
