Lack of Housing - Still an Issue

I am very dissapointed at how the house system works for many reasons.

1. You can't shared them once married (would be nice with friends too).
2. Everyone should be able to afford one.
3. The limit on furnitures is really not enough.
4. Lack of features on personal houses.
5. Not enough wards.

Neighbourhoods are dead, I barely see someone.. At this point they should add instance housing as an option for people that doesn't care about empty neighbourhoods.

We shouldn't have to change severs which means family, friends, FC mates for a feature in the game that should be available to everyone.

To add salt to the wound; people continue to transfer to Balmung despite there being no housing. It's just adding more stress to the server. They should lock server transfers to certain servers until they can figure out a way to get people to get off those over populated servers.

no housing on many other servers as well. Cactuar only has 14-50mil houses left.

I know Balmung's situation is bad. As it is, and with housing and FC housing mixed together, I'm actually worried that when they release more housing my FC and I won't be able to grab a Medium house before people tear apart the servers the minute they come up to grab everything that's available.

Which pisses me off, to be quite frank. I can't count myself among the problem. Balmung was my server from the very beginning of 2.0. I don't know -why- it's become as overpopulated as it is, but I certainly didn't ask for it. So I don't see why I should be punished for that, or why I should be the one telling my Free Company: "Well, we're SoL. Let's leave all of our friends behind and move elsewhere so we can enjoy 3.0 content!"

Anyways, we're roleplayers. And the only two "unofficially official RP servers" in the game are overpopulated.

I've been on Gilgamesh since before there was housing. I shouldn't have to move servers for a feature I expected to have access to on my home server.

To me, it makes no sense people can't make new characters on the server, but can actually transfer freely from another server. If they want to lock the server, they need to actually LOCK it. No new characters OR transfers.

They can't fix an issue with only a half solution.
