I just wanted to know why tanks INSIST on tanking the adds on the back NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU SAY THAT'S NOW WHAT THEY SHOULD BE DOING.
They INSIST. they REFUSE to bring adds to the front
WHY, OH WHY???![]()

Well... the trail isnt named "steps of faith" for nothing...
Be brave, "Step" ahead and have "faith" in people.
Yea, I can see how this one particular trial would be terrible in the roulette...
As far as I can see, this thread is not about how to explain things to people who can't learn or how you guys do it. So, on my end... I... have to agree with this. I've been avoiding the trial roulette mostly because of that. I don't mind helping, at all, but after a while... it gets really stressing and time-demanding only for few poetics. Not only because you will mostly get people that won't listen or can't learn but the whole trial is soooo long!!! and it cannot be reset'd when you see it's going to be an obvious failure.
I don't mind doing SoF for trial roulette. A major problem though, is that there's often not a complete party. A couple people often leave immediately upon loading into it, so the party either sits and watches a revolving door of people coming and going or falls apart entirely.
I think they should leave Steps of Faith in the trial roulette. You need to remember they need people still doing that trial up to Heavensward so people won't get into a position where no one is doing Steps of Faith. Instead of thinking of how annoying it is try think about why it is in trial roulette. They even said in the patch notes that they changed the algorithm for the Duty Finder for Heavensward.
The Roulette was designed to put experienced players into the queues to help with content that little people want to do. So it's doing exactly what it was designed to do.
We must not forget, the roulette isn't content designed to specifically award us with daily bonuses. It was designed to help with long queue times. Please stop asking for things to be taken out of the roulette because you don't want to do it. You not wanting to do it was the very reason the roulette existed. :3
“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
― Ernest Hemingway
Tend to agree. I've already told my FC mates not to bother with Dutyfinder groups and just rally the troops for help.
My FC mates keep telling me to give up on Trial Roulette for at least the next few weeks but I don't listen. I queue up anyway. I do get Steps often but I've only failed at it twice, and that because just no one would listen. I have no problem explaining things, oft-times I do it anyway because even if someone has done it once or twice, there may be something that they did not know.
And it's always great when you finish it and you get the groups that are like "OMG Thank you! I've been trying to do this for 4 HOURS!"

Look! Fresh meat.
I finally broke down and went into Steps of Faith as my 107 WAR instead of my 122 bard because we kept having tanks abandon on us.
My 107 WAR managed to finally clear it when I offered to run the towers, freeing up a DPS to attack the boss.
On a similar note about stuff in roulette, how about putting odin's trial INTO roulette? Unfortunately, I didn't get to do it as it came out, so I missed the big rush and now it's an hour+ long queue and 85% chance of failing.
