It's the tanks' job to know the fights. When a DPS pre-pulls mobs or the boss it's the tanks' job to fix it. When the healer gets aggro it's the tanks job to keep him safe. When DPS checks are not met is the tanks' job to LB it and keep everyone safe. While the tank is doing his job, the healer is responsible for keeping everyone alive. If the group wipes, it was the healers responsibility. DPS in the meantime is simply having fun

This is generally how most people perceive the roles.

People need to understand that it does not work this way. Everyone has a task and everyone should pull their weight. It is the groups' job to know the fights, it is the group which is responsible for failing, it is the group that should be having fun. It's a team effort after all.
