While it could definitely have been Urianger turning to be evil and working with the Ascians, I've been wondering if Elidibus was actually contacting him privately to plot-dump to him in an attempt to thwart/kill Lahabrea. There is the possibility that now that you've killed one of them, Elidibus has decided to direct your Ascianicide toward people he doesn't like (Lahabrea) instead of, say, himself.

Of course, I was mostly asleep at the time when I saw the cutscene, which was after a looooooot of cutscenes. Also still shouting "WHY ARE YOU SO DUUUUMB?!" at all of the characters (especially the WoL).

Elidibus strikes me as the type who's above that sort of petty dispute; he has already explicitly stated he doesn't agree with Lahabrea's methods but acknowledges they still serve the same god. I think he lets Lahabrea do whatever he wants as long as it fulfills the same objective. The plot-twist would be if Lahabrea had an ulterior motive that Elidibus knows about and wants to thwart, but then that would conflict with their plan to revive Zodiark.
