[Spoilers] Disappointed at lack of phasing in storyline

I think it would have been more interesting if they had random walking Brass Blades and Crystal Braves roaming around Thanalan that would only attack you if you have completed patch 2.55

But if you haven’t, they would just ignore your character until you reached that point.

I think the general issue is that phasing isn't that well implemented in FFXIV as they did it in WoW. While there are no time-traveling dragons here, they could use the 'Echo' as a substitute.
