I was on the verge of tears, and then that song came on, an my only reaction was "don't you F#@!^$ dare tell me I'm supposed to be happy about this!" Pulled me out of the scene completely.

I understand and respect that it had a different impact for people who didn't have any particular attachment to that guy, but yeah, soundtrack dissonance. For me. Personally. Just sharing an opinion.

Oh goddess no... of all the many different arrangements of the chocobo theme, you had to pick that? It has zero connection to the Legacy Chocobo at all and thus, has no place anywhere near FFXIV (as much as I actually enjoyed FFXIII-2, I hated that track I'm sorry). I still think Bo Down would be more appropriate for the Legacy Chocobo, as I much prefer that to Eorzea de Chocobo.

But that as all, they say, my own personal preference, so please feel free to disagree with my ramblings.

Uh. I started using my Magitek mount a lot more since they put the music on it. Judging by the amount of Reapers I see trekking around Coerthas every day, it seems like a lot of people feel the same way. I'd rather have it on the mount than on a map. The mount is portable, as it were - I can listen to that music without having to go out of my way.

Why should this song be the BEST? Are you sure that NOBODY NEVER uses this mount?

On my part im glad SE made this gift to the community, even if im not a huge fan of this song. And i use the gold magitek armor a lot.
