Why put the BEST song on all final fantasy: TERRA on a mount and not on 1 map.......

The version used as the mount music is actually the version from the opening scene of FFVI, and its usually referred to as "The Magitek March". So if anything, it's more appropriate as mount music.

"Terra's Theme" is the specific arrangement that is used as overworld music in the World of Balance. The version we got for our mounts is not that arrangement. I recommend you play the beginning of Final Fantasy VI again.

They put the song with the one thing in the game that is most visually representative of Final Fantasy VI (given it's near identical to the artwork of the magitek armor in Final Fantasy VI). I don't feel it would be appropriate to use the main theme from a previous Final Fantasy title in a more primary part of the game. If anything, this way you can listen to it in ANY map you can ride the magitek mount, rather than just one map.

I've started teleporting FAR less, and have begun riding the magitek armor FAR more since the music was patched in.

We should be grateful that SE listened to our plea. We were fighting for a year to get this and now we got it. On my end, I'm fine with that song being part of a magitek mount. Even though Terra's Theme is an overworld theme, it fits for its own purpose which is to reminisce the game where that armor was born.
