This, entirely this. The RNG on the card drops from winning is horrid in some cases. The NPCs aren't overwhelmingly difficult, you can beat Tataru, Rowena, and Landenel with 1&2 star cards. To sit there and say "give the NPCs more crappier cards" means you aren't thinking of how to play the game, you just want to overpower with high #'s only. NPC decks are set to where they have 3 decks and they change 1 or 2 cards in each of those decks. Learn their decks, doing this allows you insight on where the cards strong/weak points are, allowing you to bait them for flips/double flips or block them from being used all together. If they had an entire arsenal of cards to choose from you'll never be able to tell what cards they have for that round because "All open" is never in play all the time. At least with them having set decks you know what to expect based on the cards they are using. Just because a deck has low cards doesn't make it impossible to win a match or make it where you're going to lose 100% you can always force a draw and usually get a win if you know the opponents deck and learn to bait their cards out/block their placement patterns to force them to place it someplace else.

This is why I proposed a system like they had in FF8. When you beat an NPC, you get to CHOOSE what card you want. However, make it an RNG chance to proc a window for you to CHOOSE which card you want from their loot table. I'm up to 659 wins on Tataru and I've lost count on draws/losses, so I'm really to a point where that card is very much losing it's value to me when there is no such system in place to at least give me hope other than 3 dice rolls in a row.

Actually I'm surprised they never added this to the game. We can't trade cards with other people. The cards sell for crap MGP as it is. They should have made it where if we win we get to pick a single card from the ones we flipped over as well as if we flipped them all then we get all the cards. Was something that I was hoping to see when they first put the game out but instead they want to rely on their horrid RNG drop base system to force people into grinding more.

Exactly. They implemented everything else exactly as it was -except- for the part that matters. I wouldn't WANT to receive all the cards in one go because that would be way too easy and we would blow through it too quickly, but I posted in the Suggestion forum (although I'm not even sure if it will get seen) but asked for such a system. We should at LEAST get the opportunity in some kind of fashion to pick the card we want instead of mindlessly grinding for it.

As far as your opinions on Random, I agree with you somewhat but largely disagree. Her deck is good for almost every single situation, save for reverse. This shows you that her deck is not tuned properly with the amount of low level cards for her to have a chance to win at reverse as well. The ONLY time you have a decent chance with winning is getting good 1 star card deck on plus, and on Reverse when you get crappy hand to counter her large numbers. I'm sorry, but if you get a handful of one star cards, the -only- rule in your favor is reverse/plus. The rest favor her substantially. Learning her deck does nothing when you literally cannot flip her cards due to the unavailability of power to do so.
