Things are so big I am starting to measure them in units of lalafells. I do not have a issue with the majority of the mobs. I enjoy seeing all the detail I was missing out before. What is driving me really nuts is the increase size of the linkshell crest.

But cute and fuzzy lala's aren't intimidating that would go down in one hit? It's just a personal preferance that I liked the original sizes

Are you kidding? Lala's are like Chihuahua's. You think they're all cute and loveable and then BAM! a knife to the testes.

I'd prefer the phrase, 'all bark and no bite'

In my opinion they made some mobs too big like cactuars, wolves, gnats ; for some other i welcome the change in size.
I dont understand why they changed the size of linkshell crest tho, that was ok as it was.

not everything has changed, mitlings(sp) in bw are still same size. I did not even notice toad had been changed but I dont see them often.

I dont mind it in some areas but marmmots look stupid and puks move SO DAMN SLOW.

They don't. It's something everyone has to put up with because some people want to play as overly adorable midgets.

As for the targetting system, it is much better than before, but oftentimes you're fighting groups of enemies with exactly the same name. If they are at that smaller size, it's much much harder to see which of them you're actually targetting.

Overall, to capture the overall FF feel, the game needs to be more epic in every quarter than it is atm. Yes, you do fight a lot of animals in FF games, but most of them are about the size they changed to recently except for gag enemies that usually mess you up pretty quickly.
