They have their own city states to consider. This was an internal Ul'dah affair - they are not privy to all the information you have from your point of view.

And we are still part of the scions - kinda get the feeling that will never really change. We are just operating the same way we did after the garlean attack on vesper bay. Urianger is also still there.

especially Y'shtola. Casting Holy as a Conjurer isn't good for your health. But then again she has used some pretty strong spells in the past so maybe she is ok.
That wasn't Holy, the spell animation was off - although it did look like Holy. Besides it's a white mage spell..

I have to say SE: wow, just wow. That ending was awesome and I really hope you guys keep this up!

This "ending" made me actually feel more emotion to characters that before I was just a bit meh in my opinion of them.
The sultana- I've never really felt much for her before; as a leader she basically relied on Raubahn as her right-hand man and therefore did not appear strong enough in her own right to be leading Ul'dah. But, when she was poisoned and the way the cutscene was handled.... well I actually felt sad for her and was like "noooooo!".
I am utterly disappointed in the other leaders for not standing with Raubahn and for the sake of diplomacy just leaving the party. Being allied to Ul'dah I've never particularly liked the other leaders; when they stood together at the end of 1.0 I had some respect for them. Now.... not so much. They should have helped. I know why they didn't.. but still

I am itching now to find out what happened to the Scions. I believe they all survived; I think Minfilia will "save" Thancred and Y'shtola with some power invested in her from Hydaelyn. Yda is just badass and so I think she and Papalymo will be able to overcome all odds and escape/beat ten tonnes of **** out of the guards. All of the Scions' sacrifice for ultimately making sure we survive was really touching. As for Thancred taking an arrow to the knee.... haha well played SE!

I am not convinced that Urianger is a traitor yet. It is his research that provided the means to create a weapon and prove that Ascians can be prevented from being immortal, plus his good friend Moenbryda died for the cause. But, was Moenbryda's death enough to turn him to a darker side? It would seem like such a waste if he did.

I cannot wait until Ilberd gets what he deserves... please let us help Raubahn kick his backside in the new expansion ! I want to wipe that smirk off his face... and maybe chop off one of his arms too. >.>

A lot of questions remain after these cutscenes, but that's what keeps us playing.. to find out what happens and how we further shape the future of Eorzea. Don't let us down in Heavensward SE!

Above defeating the Ascians, above saving Ishgard, my hopes right now are for vengeance against the traitors and that we will see our scion friends once more.

First Moenbryda, then Nanamo. I'm sick of good characters dying, SE. Please throw me a bone here.

    I loled when...
The Waking Sands get the special magic to stay safe just so we can have it for reporting back on the Extreme Primal quests.

And I literally raised my voice and hailed...
Ciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid! Oh you always come when we need a getaway! (Images of Cid waving from the airship in Nintendo graphics.)

But of all people, I did not want to start Heavensward with that one...I was thinking maybe...
Nanamo would secretly leave Ul'dah and join us in Heavensward or something. I guess she had to die to make for the Dark Knight job, and the Dark Knight unlock quest would be to break Raubahn out of Ul'dah or something.

Which brings me to the question...what is going to happen to Immortal Flames? I mean seriously, you don't really expect to keep it like this for the rest of 3.0 do you? The whole Immortal Flames knows that we were framed and that Raubahn is locked up...I would seriously leave Immortal Flames if they are just left hanging there in 3.x.

    But still, why? WHY? WHY?

Why did you have to kill Nanamo?! You devils!

Oh, I doubt Moen is dead... Think about it, they introduce a new character who is apart of the main group of protagonists who only lasts a few patches worth of story, no, she'll be back... But she'll be different.

The problem is that they promised Nanamo that they would help if something happened. Yet they abandoned both Raubahn and the Scions. I'm pretty sure that they knew that anything that the monetarists said about the people that have helped them countless times was a lie. They least they could have done was making a protest in the name of the Aliance.

As far as I'm concerned, Nanamo and Raubahn have always tried to go the extra mile when someone has needed Ul'dah's help, be it the refugees, the domans, or the defense of Ishgard. They had their hands tied and Ul'dah has their own problems too, but still they tried to help and support as much as they could. I can't say the same about Gridania and Limsa, usually.

Eorzea has lost a lot this day.
