I did a little looking:
Speak with some of the NPCs around Ul'Dah, its being covered up. I doubt that Jenlyns' been informed
My thoughts
I don't know what to think. What were they thinking killing Nanamo. They kill off the interesting characters and frame our chars, I HATE HATE HATE it. I don't want to be a damn fugitive I am so pissed off.
I really dislike this trend of so many Lalafell being evil. They kill off our Lalafell role model but emphasise evil Lalafell left and right.![]()
Was I the only person disappointed with the lack of the player characters agency within these cut scenes?
There's several points where it honestly feels like the PC who by this point has stopped several foes was treated as, well, inconsequential. The PC was set up to be a fall guy for the assassination. Ok, I don't know the average capability of a Brass Blade. But given the recent fight, I believe they should have had a lot more reaction to trying to arrest you. I fully admit I expected the PC to go willingly. But then it moves into Super Rubahan Z ok, that's fine. Then were told to run, ok, then we keep running as the Scion's do their last stands. It honestly just made me feel the Player Character was someone weak and needed to be protected. Instead of the fabled Warrior of Light. I just slayed a dragon, how much are these guards being paid to fight me? I feel it just leaves several mixed messages in terms of the character's status in the world.
Having finished the story im just.....i dont even know what to say.
My jaw is dropped to the floor, my eyes are watering and deep inside i pray that this is just a fancy "cliffhanger" and soon enough ill be reunited with the characters that i know you couldnt possibly have gotten rid of.
Right....RIGHT?? i know your just teasing us, make us hate you for the outcome of this main story part only to ease our hearts in 3.0 when this turns out just to be a bad dream.
Cause if its really true then i swear ill make a new character and stop just before 2.55 story living happily ever after in my personal bubble where everything is back to the good old happy days.
Seriously tho this was awesome, id rank this patch as one of the best since the launch of this game (despite its lack of any heavy content) and kudos to SE for making this amazing story.
Just finished. My god QQ That is all.
Wow, I have to say that the end of the MSQ was incredibly disappointing.
I mean by the time I got to Nanamo's scene I was so disgusted by all of the "idiocy as the plot demands" that I could not summon up any other feeling for the rest of questline. Compared to the impact of 1.0's ending (which had me excited for weeks and watching the "End of an Era" frequently), or even 2.0's 1-50 quest line the only lingering feeling this one leaves me with is apprehension for Heavensward. Not to mention as the "Warrior of Light" I did not feel any more engaged or relevant than an empty bottle.
Hildibrand's ending was done much better. On that note, I'm loving the forum icons. April Fools?
EDIT: Godbert! Excellent.![]()

Well, I hated that thoroughly.
First of all as has been pointed out, the Scions are beaten by the brass blades???? The same brass bales we fight on very low levels...Seriously! As several others have pointed out, our character also seemed completely irrelevant in the story.
There are also untold things unexplained and to leave us with a cliffhanger is a truly pathetic gimmick.
I also don't understand how it works now.
If I am a member of the Immortal Flames, can I just port in now and do my supply and provisioning missions as usual... Unless Uld'ah is completely sealed of to our characters now it makes no sense.
The evil lalafells, brass blades and crystal braves have all covered it up, what really happened has not yet been revealed other then smaller details so the immortal flames would not be aware of the situation as a whole.
Atleast thats the general assumption i get after trying to talk to some of the npc:s in uldah.
Perhaps that's right but
I went to the Immortal Flames and they gladly offered me a transfer there... but I shouldn't be able to just walk the streets in Ul'dah as if nothing happened.
