What are your stats exactly?Other then byregot being absolutely mandatory (you already have SH II) the other abilities are not a must but most will greatly help.
If you post your stats we can figure out some rotations and abilities that would be best for you to get first.
Note that the artisans off hand gives a lot of stats, so you are probably already capable of crafting them at a good rate once you got Byregots.

Once you have Byregot youll be looking at a rotation something like this:

    http://link.ffxivcrafter.com/?id=cbfrz

    ----Macro 1----
    /ac "Inner Quiet" <wait.2>
    /ac "Steady Hand II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Waste Not" <wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Steady Hand II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Hasty Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Hasty Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac "Ingenuity" <wait.2>
    ----Macro 2----
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
The only level 50 abilities that requires is CF II and Byregot's Blessing. You should be able to do it with a pretty low craftmanship level as well.

With my melds and new offhand, I definitely have the stats to make them without food. But, for sure, tonight when I get home and can log in, I will post my current stats.

MD gear is skippable, and the crafted artisan's is bis. Do some shouts and see what people are charging for synthing them with your own matts.

I will at some point. I haven't reached the point with my Ixali quests to be able to purchase sealants yet. But, once I can start getting those, I will take your suggestion.

Key is to cut corners using NQ gear instead.

For the artisan's set left gear, other than the apron, none of them have a very high meld cap.
in fact, you can reach meld cap even with NQ version which gives you the same stats.
So instead of buying hq at bloated prices, you can buy NQ sometimes for even less than the cost of mats, you slap on an extra 4 control and a tier 1 CP materia on it, and BAM! same as fully melded HQ gear.
So you're basically looking to spend the extra cost of the Control 4 materia plus any materia lost from overmelding. But, Artisan's gear already has 3 materia slots in them, and your 4th and 5th melds are likely to be cheap materia anyway, so you can afford to make a sacrificial offering out of those to the RNGesus.

Ok here are my current stats:

    360 Craftsmanship
    338 Control
    319 CP

Currently, I have no materia melded onto any of my accessories, my belt or the Artisan Wheel.

The rotations you posted before, how much CP do I need to pull those off?

I would strongly advise that you work on melding first, as you are missing a lot of stats. CP is the thing you need the most, so you'll want to place some in as soon as possible. However, do follow the melding priorities listed in:
    http://www.ffxivguild.com/ff14-arr-d...materia-melds/

With your current stats and without Byregots a rotation you could use would be something like this:

    http://link.ffxivcrafter.com/?id=cbfsq
    ----Macro 1----
    /ac "Inner Quiet" <wait.2>
    /ac "Waste Not" <wait.2>

Where you basically use hasty touch under SH II, regain as much CP as possible with ToT, and use mani to restore dura.
Don't ToT when the Waste Not is active. Note that to have enough CP for this rotation, you will need to have 7 more CP melded to your equipment, and must atleast ToT once. The rotation requires about 27 CP more then you would have using HQ Bouillabaisse. Otherwise you will need atleast 2x ToT uses.
Note that since this one uses Rumination: be aware of how much CP you would get back if you don't reach 11 stacks of Inner Quiet.

Something like this I suppose. Been ages since I worked with Rumination, had to reselect skills to add it to the simulator.

Essentially this OP. If you were to compare my earlier rotation with this one:
The first one is how youll ideally want to do it, and the second one how you can do it in less then ideal circumstances.
The first one has a lot less RNG so will be less stressful, but to be able to reach it you'll need to be fully melded (CP atleast, but you can't neglect materia with a higher melding priority due to cost)

Yes, that's pretty much spot on, but I did account for ToTT and since rumination can drag you on for 30+ steps, I also did 3 rumination cycles with IQ in between (not much of a CP save, but gets you more chances to hit ToTT) But then again, that kind of rotation can't really be macro'd..
I'm actually curious to see what kind of things I can do with rumination rotation.. Glad to see somebody who actually knows how to use it

Also... Is it just ME that ffxivcrafter.com is down for? I keep getting bad request error.

I guess we get too used to using the same abilities all the time.
This topic is quite insightful, helped me remember the uses of a few abilities.

Ingen over Ingen II when possible, would save CP and a slot. Rumination over Byregots to extend steps. Standard Synthesis over CF II if it saves a step and you have the CP. Masters mend II vs Mani vs WN vs WN II.
I'm curious to how useful Rumination rotations can be as well. Whether 2x Rumination or Rumination with a Byregot after it.

ffxivcrafter.com is working for me. Using firefox, not sure if it's browser related or what not. (haven't updated my browser in a while tho)
