When i got these items i separated all gear/accessories i had to universal final (class free BiS), nonfinal and class specific. I melded only final ones and not fully by following the recommended for the BiS order. I had dodore/rosegold/rings not fully melded and not all of artisan i60. And it was enough to get all artisan tools and gear. I didn't recorded my stats at this stage, so i am unable to say what is enough, but when new i70 gear came into game after patch i got it in 30 mins ). Then i found out that fully melded i60 artisans are better and use i70 artisans for glamours now.

Ps but i had all classes at 50, your situation is not so easy.

Ideally you should aim for fully melded accessories. You can get away with partially melded class items, since you will soon replace them with the Artisan token equipment.

For the bracelets, neck, and earrings:
First meld for those should always be + 4CP, so you can start by placing a Cunning IV in each of those.
For your offhand, meld a Command IV and a Cunning III to it. If you want to save cost you can meld a Cunning III for now, and later clear it and meld that Command IV + a Cunning III.
After those it gets a little more complicated.

For your class equipment I would just meld any missing CP and leave it at that.

Hmm, seems like ffxivguild doesnt allow linking to the guides anymore?

You want to have about 350 CP before food.

Awesome, thank you so much! So with 350 CP before food (and once I obtain Byregot's and Ingenuity), I should be able to do the first two macro rotations you posted on page 1?

350CP should be plenty. Even at max melds, 355CP is best you can get and the 5 CP shouldn't make that much of a difference for rotations, people don't make rotations assuming for zero leeway.

I made a video about new level 50 crafter progression here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNRDpT94AlQ. I explain how to HQ these items easily while only requiring Ingenuity from level 15 blacksmith. Macro's included in the description, hope you like it.

Your video just made my entire week!!! I started tonight with no Artisan pieces (except the off-hand spinning wheel I bought from the MB) and ended up with every single piece from the Artisan set because of your video (glasses, gown, pants, fingerstalls and boots). I even can now use a slightly modified version to guarantee 100% HQ Twinthread for when I go to make 8 more for my Artisan Needle.

    I cannot thank you enough!

A little late to the thread, but figure I would share my rotations as well.

With your previous craft (360) and control stat (338), as long as you could hit 356 CP, you can easily HQ silver brocades without any RNG:

    http://www.ffxivcrafter.com/crafting...tor&guid=cbcVR

This requires HQ mats, but twinthread and silver ingots are pretty easy to HQ with your stats. A 1 macro button for Twinthread only needs 349cp:

    http://www.ffxivcrafter.com/crafting...tor&guid=cbcT9

With your artisan needle now, obviously your stats are a lot better so if you melded your accessories you can macro twinthread without any food very easily and silver ingots are easy to HQ at lvl 50 GSM.

As a suggestion for materia, make some Patrician gear, HQ it, toss 1 crap materia like fire on it and spirit bond. Make a few sets and it will only take you maybe 30-40 minutes to spirit bond it and then convert for materia. If you are super motivated make a few full sets of gear Patrician and the white lvl 45+ jewelry. I normally make 8 full sets and go spirit bond while dragging my wife with me and walk away with a dump truck full of materia. Note, if you do this Aetheryte Rings and Militia wrists take double the spirit bond time as the rest of the gear.

I reached the cap for 3 star-items with my weaver 50 (i55 gear-full meld) and back in the days I only had that, managed the HQ brocades with only lvl15 cross-skills. Tricks of the trade, Hasty touch are your best friends. Byregot´s blessing, I didn't have, back then. It helps, of course, but you can handle HQ brocades without. However, use some meals, have your FC buff activated. You should be able to reach hq 60-80% with only 2 or 3 i15 cross skills.
