I have a hard time telling just how much of an effect Quelling Strikes even has, because generally whenever I think of using it I tend to pull hate anyway. :/ It also *will not* be available to you every time you potentially perform a hate-ripping action, meaning at some point or another you (or your tank) will have to learn how to Deal Wit' It without Quelling.

Raging Strikes is far more useful of a skill to have.

Yeah, raging stikes aren't really needed. Even after my 3rd insta flare I rarely get aggroed. Or it might already be dead.

I notice healers, especially if they applied regen, will get hate

The default male Miqo'te stance drove me nuts too, it actually kept me from playing one until they added /cpose. xD

System --> Character config --> Character -- to set the delay time and if you want to rotate through all the idle positions. ^^

And having just got archer to 34 for my BLM, I feel your pain. I feel I should ritually burn my bow or something. It actually got kinda fun by the end, but it just wasn't what I wanted to be doing at the time.

Play around with it a little more. I live for Flare when I play black mage. It's at its most powerful when used with Quickcast, Convert and 3 stacks of umbral fire.

I'm not sure i want to quite yet, i'm quite fond of the Hyur's simple aesthetic. Even with the near instant pose changing when i stop moving, i can still see the original miqo'te pose for a fraction of a second.

Also yeah I've grown to pretty much ignore it. At first it was sorta odd, but honestly the constant arthritic hands bother me a bit more but hey, what can ya do.

Also the forums may be a bit..... indecisive. For a while after I change job/outfit it'll show my old one for a few hours. Ugh.

Edit: I figured it out, maybe i will switch to male Miqo'te after all.

I would highly recommend that.
