A newbie's impression after leveling to 50

As a newbie (been playing for about a week), i feel like i have a unique perspective of the game. So i thought i'd give feedback on the game based on my experience of 1 through 50 and my experience as a level 50.

Section 1: Character Creation.

-Overall, character creation is solid. Though it really confused me that different faces have different features, mouth, eye, and nose shapes. I think that those should be mix and match rather than "you pick this, now you're stuck with these"

-It is my personal opinion that characters should have a couple blank expressions, rather than just happy smiles all around. There are at least one for each race, i have noticed, but they are kind of awful.

-Female Miqo'te need good looking hairstyles. (seriously, they have 2)

-What's going on with Male miqo'te's hands?

-Roegadyn are perfect.

-Elezen are scary. Their necks are sooooo long.

-I find it difficult to tell whether or not Lalafel are to be taken seriously.

-Humans...i mean Hyur are okay, very bland but in a good way.

-The Lightning Hairstyle needs to be come back so i can have it and switch to female Miqo'te.

-I think there needs to be more poses to switch between, and they need to replace the default idle position. Rather than just randomly switching to them after a few seconds of standing still. For example, I like male Miqo'te, but i won't play one because their legs are 3 yards apart when they stand.

2. Character Progression:

-I both like and don't like that you can level all of your classes on one person. Like for convenience and bonus XP for alts. Dislike because i like having many different characters.

-Leveling an archer to become a BLM almost killed me. It was awful. Don't make me play archer again.

-The main story was great, it gave me a direct course to follow.

-Constantly getting stuck below what level i needed to be to continue the main story (post level 30) was annoying.

-I hate levequests.

-FATES are kewl.

-Level 46-49 made me sad.

-Getting to level 49 and getting cut off halfway through made me mad.

3. Level 50 and beyond.

-FLARE IS BAE.

-those last few 10 man dungeons were pretty fun. People even waited for me to watch the cutscenes. And i was the only one watching.

-After getting done with the 2.0 main story, i was overwhelmed by quests in Mor Dhona, most of them being dungeon intro quests. But it was still like "woah" and i didn't quite know what i should do first.

-I'm still not quite sure what to do after i get caught up on the main story up to patch 2.5.

-I liked getting the gear shown to me in the opening scene through my job quests. I thought it'd be some sort of raid gear.

4. Misc:

-Why can i make my characters so darn androgynously attractive. I keep getting distracted by how good I look.

-There needs to be more voice acting in the main story. At least for the important parts, i don't mind just skimming through the boringness.

-I would immensely love some optional casting animations where i just used my hands rather than my weapon.

Soooo true with the good looking characters. I agree with the migo'te male fingers. I wish they could normal (regular human fingers)

Permanent arthritis.
Also you can change how long it takes to change into the idle animation, from one second to five. It's somewhere in the config I can't remember.

Unless you got your Archer to 34 you're probably going to need to level it some more. You pretty much need that Quelling Strikes later on :/

I think you have a different idea of "androgynous" than I do. I'm still waiting for a race that offers androgynous males that aren't chibis (sorry Lalafells).

I really hope that after Au Ra, the next race will have REAL androgynous males, with short shoulders, long arms and legs, thin built, big eyes, pointy chins, slender body shapes, and no damn six-pack curse. We seem to have only buffed males in this game >_<! I'd like to make a male that looks androgynous and teenagery, like the anime boys.

And this is what I managed. While he looks androgynous enough (i.e. Gender isn't immediately obvious) in the picture, in game you can immediately tell, because of how damn LARGE Elezen shoulders are!

Androgynous to me is having features deemed attractive by just about anyone, regardless of orientation.

Others consider it to be more akin to having a hermaphroditic appearance.

Edit: I figured it out, maybe i will switch to male Miqo'te after all.
