This is not necessary, the problem with housing limitations comes from pure server space, to add more housing they have to buy more servers, something they will be doing in the future, because we are already paying for it, physical CEs and cash shop, if you want to support their income so they can add more housing, use the optional services.

And to inform people who seems to ignore the base of the problem, because of lack of knowledge or whatever, making housing instanced wouldn't solve the problem, the memory limitations are related to the big amount of data saved for every house, the neighborhood does not take sever space, so making housing instanced would only make it lees interesting.

There's a difference, they have the space to make additional retainers, there's not really much interest in having more than two, and they seem to take lees memory than housing, but a lot of people is interested in housing which requires more space than retainers, and must be added in big quantities, in this case, the money for housing must come first, so they can buy and install the new servers, or upgrade the old ones, who would pay a service they wont be able to use for the next 3 months or more?
Even if this is not a problem there is another, houses are not minions or retainers, houses are content, the fact of directly selling them to the players for real money is a moral problem, if you can pay $ for a house, why not pay $ for tomestones?

This system is not needed and definitely not right or moral. They will end adding more housing, the implementation of this system will only make you pay for something that will be free in the future.

And just an observation, you are on a high populated server, there are lots of free plots in other servers with less population, i'm not telling you to move, but even if they were to add this system, the housing would still be limited, and the high populated server would still suffer the "race" to get a house.

If you want a real solution, SE should add more housing based on the population of every server, instead of adding the same number of plots for every server.

there alot of new server (not legacy) that all the plot (small) are gone and me with only 300k gil ...before i get the 4g .. in those new server they will be gone. And im not gonna tell my 2 brother , my wife , and my friend to move too since they all start playing for me ...

And to talk of tombstone with house as same thing hummm really ..me i see the house as more like Aesthetics with the farm/chocobo barn/ and store ..... hum they sell Aesthetics already ... chocobo barn and farm we have it free ..its just gonna be personal .. sad to not be able to plant thavnarian onion when you got a FC that wanna use it too. and storage ..oh right they sell it already on optional ..retainer. ..none of those even house give you the advantage to get powerfull gear so can't be compare to tombstone.
and im sure some people buy alot of house with Alt to sell them higher in other way that why they desapear easely. everyway to make money is good ..but with that way you can make gil. and if i want a house i dont need to buy from someone i get it in optional service and i get my house and i add furniture in it
