Does it mean Japanese Players get to buy it for 130 yen (roughly one dollar)? Damn...
Over to you mods. I'm still highly interested to see if your store policies (Or more specifically, the EU/UK region locking) are compliant with EU laws.@SQUARE_ENIX_EU
@devisaidso Unfortunately we can't comment on business/pricing decisions via social channels. You may have more luck on the forums.
As would I. it's this very reason that everyone else (including SE in the past and concurrently with other releases) convert USD to Euro, and Euro to £, because it then complies to EU commerce laws whilst still allowing them to overcharge.
Can't even use the excuse of VAT because if you want to add VAT over the actual conversion it comes out lower.
I'm betting they'll come out with some crap about it funding an EU datacentre.
You know, like the cash shop was supposed to.
The people who belived that will believe the extra 40£ will go to the game too... they think any cent they spend towards FFXIV-related things will fund the game.
I just want an official response to the damn matter instead of being passed around and dodging the direct questions.
Because right now in the US;
1) They're able to pre-order, right now.
2) They're getting it cheaper.
3) They've just had more servers brought up to help ease the stress of the US Store.... because y'know, those poor NA people and their slow-loading cart, such a burden.
