lol on saturday i'd call it prime time :P game always seems pretty alive to me on the weekends at this time.
If you live long enough you will encounter over 4,000 more Saturdays in your life time. I don't complain primarily i work Thurs-sun, so it works for me ;DYeah, I am aware of that. Still, Saturday night prime time is an awful time to make NA players have trouble playing. That's more paid subscription time going bye bye on a day when many people could play the most. SE may not take that into consideration if they base everything around employee convenience, but I firmly believe they should.
Creating character to play with on jp server = problem solved until maintenance ends. :P
Idk about prime time... some of my guildies logged for sleep and I'm actually following the suit but.... I suppose for other gamers this could be their prime time. To be honest I don't think there's any time where least one group of players will not be losing out due to a maint, I do believe there was even a thread not long ago about a certain player saying how maint always ruins their raiding because they are Aussy? timezone.Yeah, I am aware of that. Either way point being is that someone will always lose in this kind of situation. :x
Edit: Here's some update on this stuff though; http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...b23a35b23a8102

I know! And I look forward to those Satudays.
However, it's still money going to waste. 3-6 hour maintenances, often once or more a week, add up, especially as most people are off on the weekends!
Didn't see the Maintenance message, queued for Guildheist roulette... accepted queue and then lost connection at loading screen... now cant get back in at all![]()
I was thinking on how to explain that in my head, and you did a dang good job. Most adults work weekends, primetime is like young teens and college students, primary percentage show adults play more during the mid week then weekends.Idk about prime time... some of my guildies logged for sleep and I'm actually following the suit but.... This mon-fri 9-5 job existed before 2000, its a dif ball game in the work world now.
Well, beginning the maintenance at say 3am est would be much better for most NA players. It would make the maintenance mostly be during the slowest time for both coasts. And it would help if they did it on days when people are at work.Idk about prime time... some of my guildies logged for sleep and I'm actually following the suit but.... If they're doing maintenances exclusively on the NA servers, they should tailor it exclusively to NA players' most convenient times and days IMO.
Care to share your source for this information?I was thinking on how to explain that in my head, and you did a dang good job. Most adults work weekends, primetime is like young teens and college students, primary percentage show adults play more during the mid week then weekends.

Well, I do hope you least get to be able to log back in. You may want to take a look at the link I put though.
Hopefully you'll be in game soon.![]()
