They never make a, b, or c patches for events. They are always in the major versions of the patches before the event begins.

b would be more bug fixes and minor game changes to improve functionality. As someone else joked about, target mode D. That is a more safe assumption than anything... kidding or not.

I second this and the Target mode D theory ^^

Good for them if they get fixes for bugs that quickly and even better if they throw goodies like in 1.18a (though no one should expect anything more than bug fixes)

Yeah probably nothing more than some quick fixes, but I think we should keep in mind that there have been two small bug-fixing patches before 1.18a happened, and those weren't lettered at all. So yup, something new like target mode D.
