Eorzea doesn't strike me as the most populated place, five races finding each other attractive but unable to create children together would explain that.
Like how Hyur being everywhere and Miqote having no real homeland of their own ties in nicely with the fact most adventurers are Hyur or Miqote.

There are NPCs with family members of different races. It doesn't seem to happen often, but it appears it can. Sisipu of the fishing guild comes to mind with her Roegadyn uncle. Genetically, they're compatible. And finding attractive? You can't go far without finding an NPC trying to hook up with a Miqo'te.

I haven't done the fishing guild quest line, is the Roe her blood uncle, or more a family friend of her parents that's referred to fondly as an "uncle"?

Pretty sure there are hybrids out there. The NPC that accompanies the leader of the Temple Knights in Dreams of Ice comes to mind for example, she has an elezen body but Hyur ears. Using Earth's genetic rules is probably wrong as an example, but as far as our knowledge goes, Eorzea's work the same as in inter-species pairings are incompatible (or generate sterile offsprings), while interracial pairings can breed.

She is a pureblood Garlean, I don't think it count as hybrid
