I'm genuinely curious when I ask this to those who are saying they have nothing to do until heavensward.

Do you have every job at 50? Have you completed FCoB? Do you have all of your jobs geared? All the vanity you want from 2.0? You have Zeta relics for your main jobs? You've finished with all of the beast tribe reputations? Do you have a personal house or guild house already fully furnished to your liking? Do you feel comfortable with the amount of gil you currently have? All the mounts from 2.0? You have everything you want from Gold Saucer MGP? All the triple triad cards and a max rank racing chocobo?


I dunno about everyone else but I feel like I'll never finish in time for June 23.

Some people dont like all of that stuff.
I have 1 zeta, 1 soon zeta, my favourite classes are fully geared. I have all the vanity items I want except the mog blade for my alt. I have 3 mil gil. Rank 8 all beast tribes. I have a medium house fully furnished. Gold saucer stopped appealing to me when I realized drop rates of cards were really low. Chocoboracing is fun but if I play more than 5 games I just wanna do something else. I have all combatclasses at 50 except ninja but I cba to wait 30min+ to join a dungeon.
I have killed all ex primals, and only up to T8 in coil, but I can't really commit to a raidgroup so raiding is not an option for me.
There are things for me to do, but very few things I enjoy left. My main playstyle is to get all the cute vanity gear, but since I have everything I want right now except one item I feel like I dont have anything to do except cap poetics for the week.

In all fairness, many ppl only want 1 job, maybe they only enjoy raiding, some prefer only to be crafters....vanity gear from golden saucer may not interest others. You actually gotta have an interest in those activities to do them or even consider spending ones time on them.

not every player "must complete" every aspect of the game, that's totally unrealistic to think that way. If they had to they wouldn't stay for long.

that said ...I have a lot to do still lol

Exactly. People approach the game differently. Some focus on raiding, others on crafting, the other person collects stuff.

I checked a couple of lodestones from people saying there is nothing to do. It's perfectly fine when they never set foot in FCoB (or SCoB even), or they don't care about DoH/DoL at all. GS was added with the last patch, also no trace of participation and the list goes on and on. We should respect their decisions but we should also keep in mind that SE does give us various content. It sometimes just isn't for everyone.

I only like 3 classes. Working on T13. Don't care to gear classes outside of my main. The vanity costs too much to give a crap. Only care about my BLM, which has its Zeta. Beast Tribes suck. This isn't the Sims–house furnishings mean little to me. Gil I want takes crafting/gathering, both of which I despise. I know you seriously didn't bring up MGP. Triple Triad and Chocobo Racing are meaningless, to me.

Those questions seriously shouldn't be asked lol. If people feel like they don't have enough to do, then they don't have enough to do.
