Some ideas I have for Ifrit
- stun should be like gap closer like how shoulder tackle works
- Increase aoe attack range and probably some damage
- radiant shield should have more utility, let us use it on tank or replace it for something else

Heres the thing, Ifrit is already better in any fight that dosent have frequent boss movement/target switching.
With the Ruin changes we really dont starve for mana like we used to. If we give him these buffs, its the same problem with one summon being better then the other (and this would make him MUCH better. The Radiant Shield change alone would add a ton of damage)
I'm inclined to agree with this. I don't think anything needs to be adjusted in terms of one particular summon. The Radiant shield buff would be nice, but its not necessary. If anything Ifrit's Flaming crush is still in dire need of a hotfix, the ability needs its radius widen. As it stand Flaming crush can only hit one or two enemies at a time, because the radius is right under Ifrit and expands about where his target circle is.Heres the thing, Ifrit is already better in any fight that dosent have frequent boss movement/target switching.

They should look into giving smn Zantetsuken for level 3 limit break ( with a certain percentage of him not appearing at all 30/70 - meteor instead ). This would fit the role odin had in earlier final fantasy games.
I would say no to Odin simply because he is a generic SMN and previous FF games dont seem to have too much of a place in this one.
Best thing I've read about summoner. Switch tri-disaster and contagian. That would be amazing!
I'm all for this. I think its kind of silly that its limited to 3 targets only. I mean if you don't want SMN to have the aoE prowess of a BLM then at least make it better at single target.
That's kind of a bad argument to make. This current online FF title has made it a point to ape previous Final Fantasy games, see: Mamools from FF11 and Wootz armor-which are Koenig and Ares sets also from FF11 respectively, Gold Saucer from FF7, Cloud of Darkness from FF3....and this list could keep going.

Here's an issue we've had since day one. Remove Stun from Ifrit and Silence from Selene! We don't need it on them and just screw up fights that do need it.
