    Op,I'm going to have to side with you. The gating SUCKs and yes, many players dont wanna do Old coils or primals anymore. You can post a PF for hours on my server and get maybe 6 players to join up for T5. Having locks on old Coils mostly only helps run sellers on my server. You can learn a lot on T6 and T7, why mess around waiting forever to do T5. I made a PF group for T5 and couldnt PAY players to join up. I did this for my some new FC members (we needed DPS!!!) Now for primals , they should be only gated by patch. Having to do levi, king moogle etc..just to fight Shiva ex is abit much.

    ps:T5 isnt doable in DF,never has been (IMO)
