Doin' WP norm for a book. Should be easy, right? I mean, this is ancient content, right? I notice the two dps and tank are relevantly low gear, but hey, we did WP in Darklight and less back in the day. Figure, no problem.

Apparently Tonberry Stalker is our FRIEND. DPS and tank kept running into him despite me trying to show them the correct path.

DPS to slow to down small pulls before the Tonberry gets to us...okay, I swap to cleric and holy spam away.

Bavarian was the downfall. Apparently, I cannot do enough DPS to kill the adds and save the dps from getting eaten by the random target thing the boss does.

I had to vote abandon. I was ashamed.

Dear lord, you need a hug and then some. I don't think i ever had trolls like that ever on my data center.

I certainly needed one after that run on Titan HM.

It's never happened again so far, but my expectations of PUGs have been really low ever since that happened. This is why I'm not against the idea that the developers have been tossing around (mentioned in a news letter) about allowing players to bring NPC allies into dungeons with them.

Say what you will about NPC allies not being as smart as human players and how they "take away from the game being an MMO"... ... at least NPC allies don't try to deliberately troll you. (Nor good friends mind you, but Duty Roulette demands you land in PUGs all the time except for High and Expert Roulettes) I also still say that at the very least, they could change it so that you can enter all Duty Roulettes with pre-formed parties. Others around here may insist that'll defeat the "purpose" of Low Level, Trials, Main Scenario, and Heists Duty Roulettes, but after that run I had on Titan HM? I'd rather destroy "that purpose" and allow pre-formed parties for all Duty Roulettes.

Please stop propagating the "NPC Allies in group content" idea. If you are so weak that a 1 out of 100 troll experience does hurt you so much, consider playing single player games.
I know I come over like a troll myself saying this without nice words, but I am serious, get over it.

I feel lucky in that the 24-man Raids I've participated in haven't been awful yet. However, the second time I did Sycrus, whoever decided to MT, on the (I think) final boss didn't wait, so one of the Alliances had their healers locked out.

Like geez, look at the map and make sure everyone is inside. We managed to carry that alliance, but, these are the kinds of things I'd sincerely love an raid-wide vote-kick for whoever did this.

Annoyed and frustrated is more the words I'd use. I simply hate trolls with a passion.

Sastasha HM for Zodiac drop. Last dungeon of the list. Feeling good. No Soldiery bonus, everyone's cleared? Feeling better. Until...

Zenith BLM: "I'll open with Flare every time as soon as the fight starts and never use Quelling!"
Atma PLD: "I'll pull with Provoke and never use Flash every time! Better pop Hallowed and Sentinel at the same time to protect my teammates since I'm losing Enmity!"
Atma DRG: "I'll ignore mechanics and get our team killed every time! DPS? What's that? A WHM should totally match my output!"

Wiped to a divide and conquer approach to Wenches because the PLD wanted to hit a Wench, the BLM wanted to flare instantly, the DRG wanted to hit one Courtesan, and the PLD never provoked anything off anyone he lost threat on.
Wiped to Captain Musketeer because the PLD, who promised to pick up adds for the BLM to AoE, never touched the adds. The DRG tried to focus them one at a time during musket fire. I somehow survived one full 16-stack musket fire barrage with a wave of Drowned hitting me. Don't ask how.
PLD and DRG both ignored the Kraken Arm's despite instructions that they die first, and stood in the line of fire for every Ink Jet / Spray that came their way.

44 minutes in there. How I shudder.

Hmm bit weird for the gear we have now. Even with DL gear Holy just destroyed those adds and the random target thing when it pops up and he goes to chase them you just use fluid aura which pushes him away and binds him for a few seconds. By the time he's done he'll not have time in his cycle to do anything. A WHM has always been able to carry people on that boss. Unfortunately there is no way to help people who want to run into the stalker XD
