"Here we go" If you get rid of classes,you'd have to get rid of jobs to. Jobs grow from classes. Jobs are nothing without classes. Example: Take all acher spells away from bard and you're left with a few AOEs and songs, not much else. Classes also allow sharing of cross class abilities. War without some Plad skills = no Endgame or Primals Exs. No quick cast for anyone other then Blm?? Ok, no endgame. Yes, classes may come off as clunky but we need them. We'll just have to wait and see how ES hanldes the expansion..........
