Terrible Payment System

Since some of the players cannot see the Japanese version of Lodestone coz it redirects you to NA site. I have a link (below) on an image showing the Japanese version of the payment options available to them allows them to pay Credit Cards directly to their SE account managment. Although is in japanese, I bet someone here can translate it.

They are not forced to use Click and Bye for Credit Card transactions. SE's excuses in making us use Click and Bye is for our highest security reason. Since our Japanese friends does not offer Click and Bye, does that mean they don't deserve the highest security for their Credit Card info!?!?!? This is Bull crap, it doesn't make sense, shut up SE and take our money.

Click and Buy is the WORST option available, please offer NA/EU FFXIV and FFXI players direct Credit Card payment, just like the Japanese.

Basically everyone has negative feed back on Click and Bye, heres a link on how the FFXI community feels about this.

Please show your support in telling SE (in addition to Crysta), we need direct credit card payment just like whats offer for the Japanese!!!

Ummm you haven't paid yet so yeahhh.

I played XI for 7 years son and delt with the POL crap, not putting up with the Click and Buy BS that ppl are dealing with now so yeah since SE is basically telling us by that post about extra charges for not living in UK they can kiss it because I am no longer wasting my time with a product I cannot pay for come launch.

Go look at all the forums for the ppl that got screwed already by the first rollout of said system complete with banks telling us the USA consumer not to use it, combine with the bad ratings UK ppl gave them screw this I have no intention of putting up with that crap.

Why is the Japanese dollar better then mine why do they get security and we get shit on. No SE can kiss it because this time i am not going to be the loyal follower I was for 7 years of promises, this time this consumer is telling them to shove it.

Curious to see how this plays out. Even if this is a profitable move for them in the long-term, it's gotta be devastating in the short-term.

From my understanding the payment structure is pretty simple, when i bought the game and installed it I had to create an account with SE before I could log into the game, during which time I added my credit card details. When SE starts subscription charges up for this game is the payment method not already set up and ready, and they will inform us when payments will start being charged to the cards we have already registered with them? Or have I missed something?

It will be interesting to see what happens to FFXI in September when most players new billing options kick in. they might be forced to give that games players free play time as well. I know several friends don't even have an option to start paying in September (no I don't mean they don't like the options, I mean they actually have no way to pay due to the lack of options and local laws where they live".

You've missed a lot sadly. Things aren't so black and white for many people. I know this is a semi-big thread but this thread pretty much explains everything going on.

My apologies for my ignorance I think I might have joined where the issues discussed are not an issue for players new to the game.
