Terrible Payment System

Geez, they have no pressure to do this for at least the next six months. They have mentioned considering using a billing system of their own, and they have been transfering the payment system of XI from POL to SE account lately.

Not to be rude, but you do realize that the SE account is the same exact account FFXIV uses right?

So they are transferring FFXI payment system to the same system that FFXIV is going to use which is Click and Buy/Crysta method. As stated in many posts::

C&B has a bad reputation.
Some only have C&B as an options
Come countries don't have ANY option
Some countries don't have the UltimatePay cards
Some countries can't use Paypal in conjunction due to issues.

So obviously people are unhappy about it. So, as you can see, this IS a current issue for the FFXI players who are very unhappy about this... and unfortunately a issue that we as FFXIV players will have to face as well.

If you're gonna tell people to chill, at least have the proper information.

Hopefully between them and us complaining it will get fixed, somehow. That we can at least purchase Crysta in exact amounts and perhaps make them cards available at gamestop etc.

I would much prefer a more direct payment rather than having to use 3rd party payment systems and buy stupid crysta currency, theres just no need for it at all.

Well with the FFXI Folk up in arms maybe they will give this a good second run through. Still can't believe SE thought this a good idea. Releasing a game not even worth being out of beta and with a payment system so messed up it's like they wanted this game to fail from the start.

I know right, C&B tried to cheat me out of some money in the past, they are absolutely terrible and down right rude as well sending threatening letters through the post, definately not something i would like to happen to anyone else.
