I've stopped counting how many times I've run WoD, (usually 2-3 times a day since release) and I've only even SEEN the caster body drop once (which I lost to the other BLM who had dutifully eaten every single AoE that came his way). Pretty much every other time it was the #*@&ing NIN pants or DRG pants. And of course, since it drops off the last boss of WoD and the Duty Finder can never give me a #*@&ing in-progress group when I have that option checked, which makes the whole experience that much more "fun".

Yes, I needed to whine about my RNG woes here (isn't that what this thread is for, anyways? )

its not whining. its rightful critic on a outdated and moronic loot system. rng needs to be taken care off with heavensward. especially on weekly locket content like coil. the only people defending rng bullshit are the lucky sobs here. thats ALWAYS the case with rng based shit. lucky people defend it. and only those.

Nope, not defending, and Luck is not an rng variable, so you can't insert that into a mathematical algorithm. This is a whiner thread, name one mmo since everquest 1.2 that did not incorporate an RNG system. So #stiffupperlip it ppl, and enjoy the game!

Final Coil is the only thing I find enjoyable in this game currently. World of Darkness was enjoyable, but then I realised all bosses in the raid start off as being really fun and interesting to... boring (made worse when the Healing Skirt drops 10 times in a row). It also doesn't help that 2.5 did not come out with an Extreme Primal. Just a joke Primal that drops glamour gear... and is easier than Ultima's Bane (that dropped i80 accessories, so already better because gear progression > glamour. One of which was just a reskin of the Divine Death set).

At least 20+ runs of WoD over the past week or so as a PLD, and I have yet to see the Demon Armor of Fending. And I thought Atma RNG was bad. At least I'm getting my PLD light and gearing up my neglected classes with the sol tomes from this godsforsaken place.

Hopefully in 3.0 SE will share the new class gear with existing classes, or change the system somehow. Otherwise it will be even worse than now, and it's already bad enough as is. Seeing a ton of gear you can't use on WoD and (especially) FCoB is not even fun anymore.

I finally got my Demon Top for Bard a week ago after countless tries. At least I don't have to WoD aside the occasional weekly anymore.

Congratulations, the devs have heard the community's pleas, and in patch 2.51 all loot will be replaced with bard bodies. Please look forward to it.

At least bard chest drops early. Summoners get to do the entire dungeon only to be let down by yet another caster boot drop.

Your '2 cents' don't mean anything (since you didn't read all my post). I ran the dungeon since it's been out (read the post, and please pay attention). And I WOULD OF rolled on anything at the last minute but the groups I had in the very last ten runs were so terrible they had to abandon on the first boss. So please, tell me what I should of done different. I literally had one minute before reset on the last abandon.

And another thing, it's been all DRG and MNK drops. Those aren't any of my alts. So what would I gain by greeding on them on getting those. You're missing the point entirely. There are few to no other drops other than for DRG and MNKs.

They're right: if nyew havenyot gotten the item nyew want from WoD before lockout, and it's the last two days, learn to settle! Sorry, Charlie, that's how RNG works..!
