OP doesn't know what random means. If you flip a coin 29 times and each are heads, the 30th still has a 50/50 shot of being heads.

Assuming there is no drop weighted more than others (example: healer and mage), you have a 1/7 shot of it dropping. Talk to the people that did 50 AV for their zodiac drop about their supposed "1/9 shot on the drop." Talk to a crafter that NQs @ 99% or fails 45 straight 11% chance melds.

It's random. Every time it doesn't drop does not increase the chance the next time.

But yes, there should be a "3 tokens for a item, 1 token per week+weekly loot" or something similar could be all right. Or just let us farm those 30+ (because we have nothing else to do...) WoD runs SE.

If I want a piece for my PLD, I know I need to play my SCH. With forever queues for tanks, I find it faster to greed on every tank piece I see with my healer than even trying to tank this place. And if I queue with a premade, I only see BRD/NIN and healer gear dropping. I want my chest, it's been 3 weeks now x.x
On the bright side, I got the minion. She's awesome.

If I want a piece for my PLD

I know the feeling. Though I'm trying to gear a DRG alt, I would personally like to see ANYTHING but Scouting/Ninja stuff EVERY. FRIGGIN. DROP. And non Ninja in the party, ever. Hence, wasted drop. Because some of those fights you suffer through, depending on players. Suffer and have nothing to show for it other than a repair bill. 5 back to back runs with literally all Scouting gear falling, something's got to give here. This is supposed to make people wanna run WoD more?! More like make people say fuggit instead.

After 50+ runs I finally saw the BRD Chest drop. But unfortunately the other Bard who already had 120 gear on from head to toe got it. Now that is very frustrating.

Wow, you guys sure have a lot of time to waste. I usually run WoD 3 times and then, if I can't get a loot that I need in those 3 runs, I just take the first thing that I can use... Did this since the first CT and eventually completed all the sets I wanted lol.

RNG. The first item of loot I got was the ARC/BRD chest piece from WoD :/. Not trying to brag, but it is all RNG. I have yet to see much BRD gear lately though, just the chest piece and the belt for me XD.

The only pieces I really want are the healer hat and boots.
The only time I saw them was on a Monday after I crunch time rolled the MNK hat,seeing both of them during the run immediately after when helping a friend through it.
I ain't even mad.

It IS a very good idea to clump up all the drops to the end of the dungeon to help take out the "Oh my god I shouldn't have taken that one thing out of desperation" feelings.
I also wonder why Alliances can't trade any of their drops between them. If we can do a majority vote to kick people, why can't we do a majority vote to give something everyone is passing on to another party in the alliance?
