The one thing I dont understand is that should I avoid using the Lucrezia opener over the Ossom opener if my skillspeed is nowhere near 454? How much is the potency difference between the two or is it basically negligible.

There's no reason you should avoid that opener if your SS is lower than 454. Also the opener doesn't really matter much over the course of a full boss fight. Get GL3, get it fast, and don't look back. That's all that really important aside from trying to get DK up in the opener. Use the Lucrezia opener if you want or use Ossom's...or use the old one that Noctis Umbra used that's in the OP. It's really up to you. I adjust my opener based on the situation. Sometimes there's movement that happens unexpectedly so I fall back to the most flexible of the bunch. If there's no movement then I use the one that generally gives me the largest damage output for an opener. Crit RNG is going to play a larger factor here over what moves you actually use.
That's not even to mention that some of the crafted pieces still hold more weight even using the old stat weights we were using at i110 instead of the new weights derived from i130 gear. (Det - 0.332, Crit/SS - 0.187). But any piece that comes close to the weight of a no accuracy i130 piece is going to be very strong.Hmm, thats not exactly how weights work
the only crafted pieces I have are the pieces that either supplement accuracy (by being the lowest statistical loss per stat weight) or by having the highest weight in that slot (in the case of the gloves) and everything else is essentially set up such that its det > crit=ss ( but melding crit > ss)

631.. Wow, They must be stacking adds, and then he must be getting a crap load of goad, saving the second PB for adds to just Spam Demo or something, that's just crazy high dps. Maybe Selene Buff and a couple Goads throughout the fight with TP song when the Nin needs it? If that's the case, stacking Skill speed would probably be optimal.Yet another MNK (JP Button)
Could someone say me how to execute properly Ossom's opener and Lucrezia's one? I'm just curious, I never heard by that names. (I suppose it's from mnks from this FC, if so, does it need a skill speed threshold?)
And then, aside from above question, I would like to know if there is any skill speed threshold to achieve something in special.
Thank you and keep the post going on, I really like the information you are posting!
One I posted on here about 15 pages back asking for someone to test for me, and I guess it stuck with them. I currently still use it as it works perfectly with my BiS build.Could someone say me how to execute properly Ossom's opener and Lucrezia's one? I'm just curious, I never heard by that names. This opener requires 385 Skill Speed minimum, any more is unnecessary but you need to make sure that you queue up every attack as fast as possible and do not clip any of your GCDs except maybe ToD (When using an Xpot).
The opener is :
PB > Snap Punch > Internal Release > Snap Punch > Blood 4 Blood > Demolish > Howling Fist > Dragon Kick > Steel Peak > Twin Snakes > X Pot (Optional) > Touch of Death > Bootshine > True Strike > Snap Punch
After this rotation you have 2 options, You can do either of these. Recently I have switch to the top one, but originally I started with the bottom one:
1. Dragon Kick > Twin Snakes > Demolish.
2. Bootshine > True Strike > (Dragon Kick wears off right here) Demolish > (Twin Snakes Wears off Right here).
In both cases, that second Demolish should go off before B4B and your Xpot wear off if you meet the SS requirements. Also, this lines up Internal Release and Howling fist, so that every Howling fists is done while under the effect of Internal release.
Im actually tempted to do some testing to see how much SS you need to keep DK until after Demo drops.
You mean to apply DK to Demolish itself? I guess bare minimum would be ~445 ss in theory (assuming 1.33s application time).
AFAICT letting it fall off is still inferior DPS, so don't.
Thanks for the response! I'll try it when I wake up. Anyway I'm missing 3 skill speed points (if the RNG gods are nice with me I'll get them through my gloves).

Yes. The bottom Rotation has Dragon Kick fall off right before Demolish and Twin Snakes fall off right before Dragon Kick on the next rotation.
Dragon Kick doesn't affect the DoT damage from Demolish from my understanding and thats why I was willing to give that rotation a go. I mostly did it because it worked pretty well with where I had to be for Blackfyres in T12, but when I got to T13, I need to switch it back up because of where I was at for Megaflares. (All for the pursuit of positionals lol)
Anyone who's watched Aikaals Guide form the blm thread, i'm working on something similar; it seems a lot of mnks from what i've seen are missing the personal maximization so I hope i'll be able to help with that.
Just got my dreadwyrm claws and now ive got accuracy problems. Im sitting at 509 with bis everything except i dont have the t11 gloves. What would be a better way to get accuarcy? Buy the poetics earring and mask and continue to use risotto or just keep using the dread earring and dread headpeace and switch to lava toad legs? With legs im sitting at 534 which i belive is the flank acc cap for t13.
