Where did they say that? I have never seen such a response. The only response I have seen is the one saying how they can only display so many HUD elements at once, which is true, they already have to remove 2 elements when you focus target on PS3. Granted, this is a PS3 only problem, but they cannot add this to the other platforms because of the gameplay advantage associated with it.

Supposedly PS3 limitations. Yet we have that useless bar above the group that tells us which stat is being buffed depending on who is in the group. And we get additional new UI things, like now the mob markers also show up on the enmity list. And a good number of little other things that have shown up since release. And, yet, we can't show TP? How are you able to add all these other UI additions to PS3 players?

This reminds me of their claim of running out of database storage or something, on why our armoire is limited. That is why more things are on the Salvage vendor. Ok, but, there STILL needs to be a check to see if your character sees specific items for purchase, JUST LIKE there is a check to see which items are in your armoire.

Doesn't completely make sense to me how we have no room for one thing but it seems like we have the exact same room for something else. For both the UI and storage options.

They can try making it where you can toggle between seeing other players Mp or Tp in the Character Configuration menu and the default being Mp.

Bards and Paladins use both. While it's not strictly necessary to see a paladin's MP (or TP for that matter...they don't run out as fast as other classes) seeing a bard's TP and MP can be rather important:
    1) Seeing the MP in a case with multiple bards or a ninja can cue the other player as to when to use their song. If the bard is out of MP, they ain't singing.
    2) The reason for being able to see their TP should be obvious.

As a paladin, it's probably more important to show my MP and not my TP. PLD TP is extremely easy to manage, as the only two situations that will run a PLD dry is: (1) party dps so low that you're falling asleep and the combo runs you dry; (2) having to keep stunning all the time. I can always just sit and do nothing once I have enough enmity and the TP recovers quickly. MP is not so. Without songs PLDs simply can't keep up mass pulling for long.

They don't want to players to see other party members TP bar. That's the reason. Simple as that. I think it's silly but what am I going to do? The PS3 has nothing to do with it. The party list works and looks exactly the same on the PS3.

As 2nd healer especially if you on dps mode also very important to be able to drop stance and release the other healer (unless its a pug that burns MP either way).

But yes especially nins that use Goad need this option as often they use it on the "wrong" person and 30s after someone asks for it

Then put it as optional. if the playstation can only have x number of items on the screen, then let them choose what they see. Most can live without the minimap, cast timer, or the self HP/MP/TP bar (just use the party version) or etc.

i think its time that the playstation limitations stop limiting what PC players can see.

Anyone wanting to play on a playstation, or lacks the ability to get better hardware should accept the limitations by their choice. Those who invested in the hardware to play a game should not be limited to the cheapest denominator.

If your going to have 2 jobs that restore TP, they should be able to know when to and who needs it without a pt member screaming for it.
