    Hunt Griefing: Solution to Community Woes?

    Hunts are currently not working as intended. They're seen as an opportunity by some to grief the community by not waiting for anyone other than themselves and the few early responders to Guildwork callouts. Complicate this with the failure to balance hunts around rising item levels and you have unchallenging pinatas rather than so-called 'Notorious Monsters'.

    I would propose that upon spawning, S rank hunts are given a timed buff that increases HP and damage by a %. It would not only solve the issue of griefers, but additionally make S ranks a deadly challenge for organized groups to tackle should they feel up to it. A rank hunts flat out need a buff for either peak hours or scalable HP to the number of attendees.

    I'm really tired of the rage and players simply not bothering to attend hunts due to all the griefing. This is not an issue for the community to fix SE, it's yours.

    Yeah it's not the community's fault we're all a bunch of impolite jerks with incredible networking skills, SE.

    (but I will agree that hunts need a HP adjustment due to increased iLV of the players)

    scaling would be nice. It's an S rank, so regardless of the number of players and iLvls participating, it should last more than a few minutes. Not on the level of Odin, of course, but maybe on the level of a raid boss (3-5m).

    So, for example, the minimum scaling would be for 3 full parties at ilvl100. If there are more ppl in combat with it, it's health and attack would scale dynamically on the fly as the fight progresses.

    Also, would it kill SE to make the S Ranks more than just tank n' spanks? A little variety would be nice.

    Here is my fix for hunts.

    All, S ranks spawn randomly every 24-36 hours, Credit only once per week.
    All. A rank spawn randomly every 4-12 hours, Credit only once per week.

    I think there should be a claim system or a limit to how many S-Rank, A-Rank, and/or Allied Seals one can get in a certain timeframe. The latter is probably the best solution. Someone else proposed switching daily rewards with A and S-Rank rewards, that might work too. Or maybe make it that no matter how many seals you get, you can only get one upgrade item per week. Or make it so end game items aren't obtainable from hunts at all. Or remove Coil loot lockouts so both sets of content can potentially give you unlimited i130 gear.

    There are so many options and I don't even care how they fix it, I just hate hunts the way they are now and I don't think scaling HP would fix anything.

    Elite Mark bills being posted daily instead of weekly would help. It's not like 100 seals a day for a B rank is insane, and those are walking around largely untouched after the weekly reset.

    If the S ranks can insta-gib the first 8 players to hit it, like auto-reflect, it would make it a lot less desirable to early pull.
