Before SMN can do that burst, they need apply all dots on their target at first and they need all aetherflow stacks. If you want good sustained damage, you will bane dots around and not fester all of the time. Yesterday some blm crit 2k with fire and 2.8k with firestarter proc(with some buffs ofc). Difference between blm burst and smn burst is that they need build their damage before they can do it and SMN have really long cooldown on those skills unlike BLM live with procs.

It's painfully clear that you don't know how vital swiftcast is to mages. I got hurt pretty bad every match until I leveled Thaumaturge. And please don't argue that a DoT spec has absurdly high burst and question someone else's PvP experience.

I have no idea what it is you're trying to get at. So, 1 melee LBs a random healer, then Casters follow up with we've been trying to explain to you is OP? Why not just CC the healer and stack the Cometeors on them, instead of sending your melee on a suicide mission?

Here's one for a pile. A 72 man that I did fairly well (yey last-hitting!), but with one caviate.



Note the Four highest DPS mages are in the same party, likely a pre-made coordinating Cometeors - that's what needs to be fixed.

But overall, looking at the kill participation of the battle going down - the kills are otherwise fairly spread out and they're not ranged only. Range DPS have a slight advantage, but are not inherently better without the Cometeor spam.

Did that a long time ago. 3.8k+ isn't laugh-able no matter how many times I survive it. It's still a Kill Caster button that I've never seen the like of in any PvP game. Even EQ Pallys could only cast that nuke once a day.

I've argued a 100 times that being forced to wear tank gear that benefits me in no other way than HP clearly shows how OP the melee LB is. But then I have a swarm of idiots telling me I don't have to wear Vit gear and that I'm just exaggerating.

The fact of the matter is that it exist.

Here let me break it down how well their burst is, (DoT tick for 70-110pot somewhere in there ) + Ruin II (80pot) + Energy Drain (150pot) + Fester (300pot) + Enkindle (Garuda Rouse + Spur; 360pet pot) + Aetheric burst (170pot) + Wither (170pot) + energy Drain (150pot) + Ruin II (80pot) there is your burst in a span of 2.5-3seconds. Only need the dots for the fester. The more you know. Luckily we can have 3 Aetherflow stacks on reserve whilst 3 stacks are already up, smh.

Umm, what? Why would a party run into a cluster because a melee randomly ran into a group to LB? Rather that random melee wasn't even part of the Premade, and just an actual random LBing a random person.

LOL, you are telling me to learn how to play yet you are dying to a melee LB 9 out of 10 times, I rarely ever die to a melee LB on my WHM (No VIT accessories/spec). How many times do I have to tell you that the caster adrenaline itself is fine, its STACKING them.

Some people in PvP attack the person wailing on their healer.

I realize most just put on the blinders and charge ahead, only to bitch when they don't get healed, but some people actually work as a team in PvP.
