So whats the big fuss about you may think - well WTFast and such programs are UNRELIABLE our FC past month raids have been nothing but plethora of problems with VPN either its laggy or they lagspike or worst case scenario crash. Im frustrated everytime i get to raid cause i know theres going to be WTFast server roulette and fishing for a stable setup and then pray it doesnt go bad midraid. So yeah if that faisl what do you do cause im definetly not moving to Canada.

Totally understanding your situation, as another sad exemple, my raid team that is composed of 3 Italians, 2 Spanishs, 2 Norwegians and 1 French we are all experiencing disconnections during raid every time xD and no matter if most of us use a VPN, the usual "fast and normal internet" but getting 90002 randomly is happening waaaaaay too much (and seems to love happening during last phase of Bahamut lately xD dat troll).

What I'm wondering is how they will handle players with the delivered result, moving servers to EU is a thing but what about all of the players who did choose to play on a server like Ragnarok as an example but play from Canada, in a way they are going to experience our currant situation :x I wouldn't wish it to my worst enemy to be honest :3.
This is maybe why it take so long to become real.

For when this was announced. They annouced it during the keynote of the EU Fanfest in London. That was the first official announcement of setting up an EU datacenter. Before that it was mostly we are still looking into it. So it hasn't been half a year yet but getting there.

The EU servers were always marked with EU next to them. Thus I expect them to move those to the EU datacenter. Will it suck for players that are not in the EU but playing on them? Yes. But at the same time there are EU players that are highly invested in their FCs and friends and so on and other things on those servers that deserve to be able to keep playing together under the conditions of a proper EU datacenter.

This becomes unacceptable unless they also offer FULL FC transfers with housing and inventory(and personal inventory and personal rooms). There are limits to what the servers transfers allow.

And while I feel the pain of some players with lag and such from the EU I always point out that there are those of us that play on the PS4 that don't have access to the solutions the people on PC have to bypass and yet we still do fine with content.
