    Player Feedback on good mechanics!

So I was just gonna make a lil thread about one of my favourite boss mechanics.. But I thought if we got a feedback thread going, SE might be able to read through it and see what we liked and didn't like so they can implement it in the future.

My liked fight is Cerberus.. The multi layered parts of that fight are amazing, going inside him while the others chain him up etc. We should have more large bosses like this where we maybe fight different areas.. and say what one party does in one area effects the other parties eg. killiing the stomach makes cerberus slump to the ground in pain

Personally I love all of the World of Darkness... it's at least different from the rest of the series and regular dungeons so far.

I like the Prey mechanic In T10 , although it isn't intensive ...too many times there isnt a true healer mechanic and this is one of them so kudos to implementing things in Coil

Tethering T11 is challenging as well I liked that mechanic as it greatly improves team work and communication in raids....

WoD is my fav place to play atm lol I run it even if I have my loot already I like playing it.....

speaking of coil, I really loved the allagan rot mechanic in turn 2, it was a great team builder, i was so annoyed that it got cheesed and SE didnt fix it.. I plan to take the newbies from my FC into T2 and teach them the old way to build teamwork

Therefore I also enjoy Angra Mainu for this T7 look away / qarn glowing platform combination (even tho the finger makes an annoying sound in this fight).

I was thinking this the other day when it came to regular dungeons and how to change them from being the same trash-boss-trash-boss-trash-boss style. I thought it might be fun to add certain elements such a sneaking/hiding (intentional as opposed to the unintentional skipping of mobs we do). Also, I thought it might be fun to have the party split up individually or in pairs at some point to accomplish a task. Just throwing out ideas there to change things up a bit.

I like the door mechanic from Diabolos. Interacting with the enviorment to escape an attack is pretty cool. (Boss of Lost City of Amdapor)

Giruveganaus fight in general is awesome. No tank. Everyone needs to fend for themselves. I like. (Boss of Stone Vigil HM)

T6 and T10 are my favourite turns because of the mechanics, the eat/spit and wild charge in particular. I also like when we have to protect something like in LotA or Tam Tara HM. I actually wish sometimes we had a NPC to escort through a dungeon instead of them waiting at the entrance for us to return (Byraflox kinda had this but it was impossible for Brayflox to die, so it doesn't really count). They could be part of the dungeon's boss strategy, where we have to protect them but they could also help us with their own special technique (borrowing from another SE games, the bit in KH2 where you have to escort Minnie to the throne room is one of my favourites. You have to protect her but she can also use Holy).

WoD has some fun mechanics too. I remember suggesting something based on colours a long time ago so I was glad for the hot/cold floor during Angra Mainyu, getting inside Cerberus to kill its stomach is my favourite bit in the game,.

I also like weird debuffs that you get in Gilgamesh, Ultros and Wanderer's Place HM, and I have a soft spot for Garuda Ex's spiny plume. That was the first difficult fight I had unlocked and it was a mechanics so out there compared to what I had seen so far, I was very surprised!

Also, I thought it might be fun to have the party split up individually or in pairs at some point to accomplish a task.
I have though about this too a couple of times. Or, if you fall from the arena (think Demon Wall), instead of dying, you'd end up in another place and have to get back up and join the group.

Jumping puzzles/platform mechanics are always fun too. And I mean true jump puzzles, not the platforms we have now that jump for us.

My favourite fight in this game will always be Titan EX. It's so intense and if something goes wrong, you can't just follow the script anymore and need to figure out a way to get back to the script alive.
Im hoping for more fast paced fights like that in the future

Or there could be another kind of battle down there, so let's say titan EX for fun, and one dps falls down, and to get back up he will need to fight something down there, and the strategy would be that "oh one of our dps fell down, we need another dps and one healer to jump down too to get him back up alive" making the fight at the top a bit harder for sometime while they are on their way back. Combining this with a dps check would be so mean though!

Oh that's why I meant, not just an empty path to get back on. There'd be enemies and other stuff to make it hard to get back, and why not having to bring someone along? That sounds cool.
