rng keeps you coming back cause how many continue to run WoD after they get their piece for the week? I know not many from the FC and LSs I am in.

I think an easier fix for this would be to add a second chest only to the last boss. A chest that has a chance to drop every single piece of gear instead of just 1-2 from each set. Then some people would stick around for that second, albeit lesser, chance for the single piece of loot they want. This behavior is not new to WoD. People did the same for the initial gear lockouts for CT and ST as well. As long as RNG exists, the mentality of "see if I get it and leave" will exist. Not much anyone can really do about that. They could increase the lockout timer for dropping a group, but that's a piss-poor solution to an issue that isn't all that big of a deal.
I have a theory of SE possibly making it so that each chest has two gear drops instead of just one to slightly lessen some of the RNG strain, but I know better than to think that would ever happen.
Doubling the chests for every boss would actually result in more people quitting. Not only would it do nothing for the people who don't get what they want from a specific boss, it would increase the number of people who quit when they do get something but had several options that might have kept them in until the end.
I doubt that will happen since the only reason people leave like that is BECAUSE of said lockout. Take that away and ta-da, no more issues with that.I think an easier fix for this would be to add a second chest only to the last boss. I chuckled when Cloud of Darkness dropped a belt earlier this week for my group. Based solely on the previous CT raids, I would have assumed belts would only be from the first two bosses. Now we have a chance of getting four belts in a row! Hurray!
I thought they were crazy for having belts drop in the first place, since no one wants to roll on those the first few weeks for obvious reasons. Make them drop separately if you must, but stop flooding the raid with them, I'm not Lulu.
Make them only drop the gear pieces that players have decided are Best in Slot and stop flooding the dungeons with items that players decide are not Best in Slot...
I don't care about stats. Belts are the only items in the game that don't appear on the character. They are literally invisible stat sashes. That's why new stat sashes don't get me excited.
Does anyone in this game actually ENJOY belts? Are there belt collectors out there? Anyone with a retainer completely packed with every in-game belt? I know this is Final Fantasy, but if we can't see the belts, what is the point in having so many of them?
WoD drop rate of mechanic ignoring retarded players is too damn high, plz fix it
I've seriously seen a run where every drop was a belt.I chuckled when Cloud of Darkness dropped a belt earlier this week for my group. We've been calling it this and World of Ninjas (cause damn does it love to drop scouting gear).
