It's only natural. By their very nature male Miq'ote are loners, who won't risk themselves for anyone else. Look at the lower feline species from that world called Earth. The lioness hunts for all the food, and cares for the young, she coordinates with the other lionesses. But the male, the so called king of the jungle, he's laying out there somewhere in the sun waiting for someone else to take care of things so he can swoop in and steal the credit - typical male cat. But if there is a job to be done, the 'king' makes himself scarce leaving the female to take care of things.

Female Miq'ote are strong, reliable and of course we are female Miq'ote, so...you know...we have the power of kawaii.

I should add that we also undergo extensive training to resist our greatest weakness....the giant ball of yarn. Thank the twelve that none of our foes have yet determined a way to use this weakness against us in battle...

This goes without saying my friend.

lol, I'll drop the mild RP. I do think that many players who play male Miq'ote are impulsive and the result is players who are better as DPS, with the exception of a tendency to pull things 'by accident'.

    Ty for this topic

As a Roegadyn whose main job is tank, i agree with you.

    Best tanks are Roes.

As a side note, Roes have actually high initial MND, which in theory would make them good healers (assuming those 5-6 points matter).

Hellsguard start with 22 Mind (same as Dunesfolk Lalas), only behind Keepers of the Moon Miqo'tes (who have 23).
Sea Wolves Roes have 21 Mind and all other races have somewhere among 17-20.

In every raid I've been to the most chill player has been the Roegadyn tank and the biggest tryhard has always been the catboy anything.

It's not unreasonable to wager that different races attract different personality types, but it's not a perfect model and there's bias due to population perception. There's like 6 billion catgirls, for instance, so mentally you're more likely to gloss over them than notice them in a group.

LOL, sorry to be the cause of sadness. I did omit a few things, like pointing out that male lions are much stronger, and will protect the pride (family group) if there is an intruder. And of course in the modern eorzean era, the matriarchal nature of the Keepers of the Moon and the differing birth rates between genders mean that male Keepers are of course highly valued members of our society. Male Keepers are proud and valiant Miq'ote who are more than a match for any enemy that threatens our families.

I might jest about the lower felines on some other world, but I well know that without the strong males among the Keepers, we would be naught but Seekers with round eyes.

Catboy healers always make me happy, maybe because I played catboy healer myself until I fantasia'd to catgirl. On that note, I find races other than cats playing bard to be a bit odd looking. I kind of get weirded out when I see a Black Mage who is anything other than Lalafel or Hyur at most. Roe black mage is like "Huh?"

I feel like this thread is ripe for one of those perfect world sayings: "In heaven, the tanks are Roes, the healers are cats, and the DPS are hyur..."

To me, elezens look odd doing anything other than summoner. I'm sorry elezens.
