The Hunt Public Shaming Needs to end

This is how the ".exe" FC got themselves a bad reputation and eventually had to leave server 6 months ago, because it does NOT take long before people notice it is always the same bunch of trouble makers.

There are people who did this 6 months ago on our server. They were shamed repeatedly. They laughed it off and the very same FC and same people are doing it again in 2.5 even going so far as to brag about it. You're assuming people will absolutely make the server impossible to live in and you use that example to prove your point. I'm here to tell you that you're making a logical fallacy if you think all such instances will go the same way. Some servers are large enough to disappear into the crowd regardless of public shaming and long past public memory. You need to comprehend that basic point.

Obviously some servers do not have people that try to combat the trolls and let the trolls run roughshod over everyone. If people don't work together to take back their neighborhood and just let the "criminal" element have their way, what can I say, but to try to get people to rally people together and get in the faces of the trolls and get them to stop. People have a a choice here and they can choose to make a stand, but if they want to be complicit by their silence then the mess they get is what they deserve.

Certainly there is diversity. But diversity does NOT mean that the "criminal" elements should get to run things the way they like. It doesn't matter what fascade they wear, be it PKs, trolls, to gangs, mafias, or narco-states, or outfits like somali pirates or ISIS, the reason they get room to operate is because too many of the good people stay silent and are complicit intentioally or unintentionally. Telling people to be quiet on the forums is telling the rest of us just to surrender to the trolls, but that is not going to happen, because of diversity and there needs to be voices against the trolls.

The only person who's reputation is being damaged right now is your own...your not a hero, your not saving the world from some big bad evil that will destroy the game without you putting on a cape and flying in to save the day...you are the bad guy here. You are the one harassing other players because they do not do as you demand based on your own rules and not the developers. If you do not like something someone does in game, report them, blacklist them but you do not have the right to form a lynch mob and harass them in any way, shape or form. Going through this thread the level of your exaggerations about the people you are referring to, comparing them to 'criminals' in your most recent example and even worse exaggerations earlier in the thread are beyond a joke at this point. Which player have I ever specifically harassed? Taking a stand with other players against the "criminal" elements, a.k.a trolls is not harassment. You can insult us and harass me by calling us names like lynch mob or whatever else you like, but what we are doing is not harassment by any definition.

Sorry but your insane...I am of the belief at this stage the only reason you have not been banned from these forums is due to perhaps the moderators finding entertainment in your insane rants. I don't know where you got the impression about telling you to be quiet on the forums, but I can assure you, that you are clearly mistaken. I will put it in layman's terms for you: I'm basically saying you are responding as if your word/take on the issue is final, as if you are the governing authority on the issue and you're not. Suggestions are fine, but to toss other people's views out in the attempt to validate your own, and then compare it to irrelevant items (like what I am quoting) because they did/do not like your take on the issue is another.

I got news for you. Look at the thread title ... "needs to end", i.e. we need to be quiet. Sorry no can do, we are going to deal with it by identifying the trouble makers and let them know our grievances and blacklist them if we have to, and we are going to do this in a coordinated fashion to the best of our ability all without running foul of the verbal abuse rules or harasssment rules. It is not harassment to be organized and take a stand against the trolls.

I've never assumed to be some governing authority or government or police powers or what not, unlike some who pretend to speak for the GM using terms like the "confirmed by GM" when no such confirmation has ever happened on this topic. But it is clearly unreasonable to expect those of us who have suffered from the antics of the trolls to take it lying down and then be quiet about it.
