DF groups on EX primals still have trouble. I don't really like the ecosystem of statics but... DF wouldn't work for fcob.I'm sure this has been brought up before, but please put the final coil in duty finder already.
I don't have the ability to commit to the time requirements that statics request and the party finder rarely, if ever has a final coil group and my own finder times out multiple times with at most 1 or 2 people joining
And this hurts everyone how? Players need to get experience in these fights to get better. Who cares if they fail? My best way of learning parts of t5 was to DF it. I didn't clear it through DF, but I never would have if it wasn't for previous learning. There is no good reason to ban things from DF, I don't see why they do it. It is frustrating for all those without statics. You never know when you may get 7 others that are actually competent.
Just because it is highly unlikely that someone will clear it with DF doesn't mean nothing was gained.

I think it might be put in DF and slightly nerfed in 2.5 part 2. Because at that point the expansion will be here soon and they might want to give some more casual players a chance to do it before it becomes irrelevant in Hevansward.
Nah! Though FCoB will definitely be neglected for some in lieu of doing everything the expansion has to offer (leveling raid jobs included), when SCoB was put into DF, my entire group kept going back there. We hit those turns so hard because we could only have geared up our main jobs and maybe one off class, depending. We went back in to finish up gearing the rest. When FCoB will be put to DF, the experienced people will flock back to finish up gearing and then move on to Alexander after they finish leveling to 60.
Then newer players who hadn't been able to do it before will come. There will always be people in there...whether you'll finish the turns even with the nerfs will be another story.
It's funny how people still can't beat the nerfed T7.
it's coming .... with 3.0I'm sure this has been brought up before, but please put the final coil in duty finder already.

I can imagine that AF2 will be ilevel 130 as starter gear for lv60 content. I'm sure that the ilevel of lv51+ dungeon/non-star crafted gear will lower than the ilevel of coil3 gear

FCoB on DF is like 3 months too early at this point. Heck how wipes are people going to need to do T9 on the DF? 500 wipes for 1 clear is my guesstimate. You are lucky to see a wipe by super golem right now.
While that may be true for some jobs, taking Poetics for example, bards were mostly geared up in a combination of poetics, soldiery, and crafted gear before WoD came out. So while poetics boasted i120, some bards were interested in their stats and stuck with other pieces. For people who haven't leveled their classes to 60 either, it's still gear that they can get. Plus, we have no idea what the developers are planning on doing for older coils. Having everyone be ten levels higher would put the fights in a different place than intended. If they were smart, they would level sync those instances, making it perfectly acceptable to farm for the gear still.
Also, a lot of the i110 stuff was farmed as an alternative to soldiery and sand farming. So saying that it will be for glamour only isn't exactly true, especially for while you're leveling.
Threads like this make it obvious why we need all major endgame content to have multiple difficulty settings with appropriately tiered rewards.
Why spend all this money designing encounters the average joe on a backwater server isn't going to see and only 10% of the population even touches?
video games are bad
