fixd. 'TP management' implies there's something you as a pld should do to conserve tp. The only way to manage tp as pld is shield swipe, but that's not real applicable as dps OT. Halone all day every day. No way to 'manage' that.

if you have high TP, you can use Facture. normally I stop using it when I got 400 TP left.
if you know the fight well enough and know when there a break coming up (T12 final phase plume + drive and T13 Drive phase) , you can keep your TP low enough so that after the break you will be just at full TP or nearly full TP.

as OT you right there no real way to conserve TP but there a way to burn it faster by using Facture.
if you sitting at high TP right before the Drive phase, then you will most likely stand there wasting TP tick. (that How I think when I OT or MT the fight.)

That's where you have to get creative as an OT PLD, if your healers are up for it... You can Cover the MT and pair Bulwark and FoF. The shield swipe procs you will get are insane, so is the DPS increase.

Generally, you should do 1 shield swipe per 1 combo action is preferred since shield swipe timer is a bit short. So it looks like this

Shield Swipe > Fast Blade > Shield Swipe > Savage Blade > Shield Swipe > Rage of Halone > continue.

You won't be running out of TP, aggro wont be an issue and you will be pushing amazing DPS as OT. (Though it depends on the fight if magical auto attacks like ramuh or physical like anything else.)

PLD is boring and all the same. MT? Halone! OT? Halone! DPS? Halone!

Doesn't matter if you are the tank there just for DPS, or if you are DPS there just for DPS. Regardless, if you are not the MT, you need to keep track of your own enmity and hold back when it looks like you are close to taking it.

Otherwise, STR gear set, Sword Oath, and start whacking away.

As far as WAR vs. PLD DPS, don't always assume the WAR puts out more DPS. Who has a full set of STR accessories, who has the better weapon, etc.?
