You guys sure glasya starts reflecting all damage and not take any damage? Now, I'm not sure if that one time I single lb'd after the squires spawned or before it, but I died ignoring the squires by LBing glasya down to 4% and then dpsing them down some more to 1% with 2 other dps and 1 other tank. At that point glasya started doing the charge up and the rest of the alliance finally got their squires to positions so they can jump out at the last second. It felt like we could have skipped that part had more people suicide piled on glasya instead of just trying to kill all 3 squires that went unchecked. Returning back to entrance after death and taking shortcut to amon would probably still be faster than doing the jump pads.
I also seriously don't get why non tank players don't just take the squires straight to the intended spot regardless and just run around like chicken with its head cut off if they decide to incur aggro against the squires.
@ Gardes, Yes. If any squire has a tether to Glasya he will reflect DMG. I LB'd myself once on BLM. It was safe when I started, no tethers, then at the last second of the cast one popped back on him due to tank loosing control of his/her squire...poof, I was deaded. So as long as there are NO tethers to G-dawg, you can DPS away with no reflect.
Maybe not skipable but funny enough... If ppl in CT fk up Atmos boss and the Iron Giant guy spawns a tank can need 2 hits XD
In pharos every boss is burnable with decent dps and a somewhat vit stacked healer ( required to survive corrupted crystal explosions on 1st boss ) but now that ilvl is higher it is twice as easy to burn them and heal thru damage.
If you kite all the zombies from the start on siren, she won't do anything except summon more zombies and put the ocasional cursed voice thingy ( the thing that charms u ). She won't dash or do aoe.
Stoneskin scales with max hp soooo as ilvl increase so will it.
Yeah... I went with some people in my raid static and we decided to find out what would happen if we got the first boss' hps down to zero before he summoned the mindflayer. We were mildly disappointed to find out that he just sits there at zero hp until the cast completes, then drops dead. We were kinda hoping we'd break it somehow, lol. I just tank the boss in the middle of the room now. If I'm feeling trolly I turn its ass end toward the rest of the party. They usually just facetank the inevitable tail swipe anyway, though. xD
You didn't have to do that when it was current raid content, ppl stopped doing it when they were decked out in full i90 for the most part.
What is new is that you don't need to tank bosses away form each other after the split anymore, just let them merge immediately and solo tank it/burn it down. Takes 2 minutes max. ^^
On T11, if the egg eats an add because you messed up the simultaneous kill, you can still burn down the merged add.
Questing is like participating in an Old Spice Commercial - Talk to me, talk to him, talk to me, talk to him, Now Talk To Me...Sadly, you are not done, back to him, look there, its that mob I never liked, back to me, back to him...I'm in the Waking Sands.
Blighted has been nerfed so you can remove it. You'd need around i350ish to survive the un-nerfed version as a non-tank (assuming linear HP increase with ilevel)
ancient Quaga does your exact number of HP as damage. Only way to survive it is to be toped off and have a succor/adlo/stoneskin. Has nothing to do with ilevel.
Not a great example, because you need wait 12m first, then make the kill. If you manage Rot, you can kill it in 3'36" ending everything from start to end in 7'. Today, I think much less, as long as from video to today, we got +20 armor ilevels patches. But not any skipping of mechanics.
