I still can't believe that a lot of players who have been to ST a lot of times still don't know about this and end up killing themselves because they don't get off the boss when the squires drop.
People certainly have the ilvl and DPS to do it. It's happened multiple times (as you've said) before the platforms light up months before now. Some people just forget about that squire part and they waste their dps. Glasya won't automatically force you to the pads once you move the squires in place so you can DPS him down when they're done and then move on. Most groups he'd be dead by then but if you have dps on him or squires not in position, you may have to use the platforms.
You can still ignore them. Just have a healer hold them at the tether location to prevent damage reflection.
You don't have to feed slimes to Caduceus in T1.
Kind of vaguely steering off topic here, but I ran Pharos Sirius for the first time last night with a friend and for nearly all the bosses no one explained anything, even my friend (who I've brought along JUST because he normally explains boss mechanics). Then I realized why: We could burn through the mechanics on most of them. I'm mildly curious as to how we were supposed to fight the bosses, but I'm hoping there's videos from before being able to do this?
You can the group that I ran with this week managed to kill him before the squires dropped, whole fight took 2:15.
Isn't it easier to list those that cannot be skipped regardless of your iLv?
I was doing my WHM relic yesterday and in AK (normal) I was very much surprised to find that all the bosses are just single-target tank and spank now...

Garuda EX - With enough DPS satin plume and the rest of the plumes won't spawn instead Garuda summons her sisters right away at 75%...You can also ignore Spiny plume, Holy down all plumes/spiny and kill Garuda before she does her attack where you would need spiny (usually done with 1 tank/1 heal) This also means you do not even see the last phase where theirs twisters on the ground and you have to deal with spiny and sisters. It makes the fight less then 4 minutes long and easy.
Titan EX - Enough DPS you will not have to deal with Superbombs
Ifrit EX - You can skip Race cars/The ability where ifrit charges across the map. You can also skip where the entire floor get covered.
Turn 1 - You can ignore every mechanic and just burn boss
Turn 2 - Enrage
Turn 4 - Just burn, ignore positional, and anything that seemed relevant in 2.0
Turn 6 - blighted and now most groups can ignore slimes, you can also skip Bees

This doesn't require high ilvl, you just need to spam AOE heals, preferably WHM AOE heals.
You can skip half of Titans' rotation with high ilvl though, such a fast fight with our gear now XD.
