If raids are not hard, why do so many people fail? Oh, it's probably because they are doing 150 dps and think they are doing fine when in fact they are killing the party by not meeting dps checks when they should be doing 350.

Why is someone who didn't clear T5 until 2.3? and hasn't cleared T9 talking about raid difficulty? Can you explain that part to me?

Yoshi-P basically said he does not want parsers because there is this group that would abuse it.

Anything Yoshi p said don't make any sense to me,like abuse over DPS or voice chat harassment settlement he made if you are getting abuse or harass just call GM is like real life you call the police this just my opinions

My comment makes perfect sense in the context of what was being talked about. That context is in the optional vs mandatory use of such a feature forced upon the player base.

Low dps isn't really the only thing players can get harassed for anyway in this game. Jerks will remain jerks no matter whether they're talking to the party's MVP or not and so will helpful players who are ready to give advice to whoever isn't pulling enough deeps.

Why is an elitist member of the microscopic sized extremely hardcore raiding community trying to dictate how the majority of people should be forced to play in a mandatory way? That community is niché, it is a tiny fraction of this player base, you should not be trying to force (mandatory) features which would cater to your tiny group onto the majority who do not play as you do and are not part of your tiny group. If remained optional you would not lose out because those who fall into your category of your community would have the option of using such. There is no legitimate excuse for making such mandatory especially when those who are part of that community are such a tiny fraction of this player base.

Yes because it's SUCH a bad thing to not bother wanting to

1. People play the game to enjoy it.
2. People play the game to have fun.
3. Raids are not hard.
4. Mechanics are not hard.
5. Parsers are not require, due to this reason. There is a rotation for all jobs. If you do the rotation correctly your optimal DPS will remain at a set number regardless of a parser or not.
6. Gear sets come with a standard amount of stats. These stats increase DPS count until a full damage threshold is met, usually by having a full set of armor. Parsing will not help this as you will hit that cap eventually and will be stuck at that number.

Do you get it now or must I explain it further to you?

it not hard but if you are doing Coil of Bahamut T13 you NEED DPS ,T13 is DPS and healer game

Again, where are parsers used generally? It's more then likely, if not always, the raiding environment. Which makes your comment nonsense when talking about the context of optional vs mandatory. If you are embarking on content that requires high DPS then a parser is your friend not your enemy, unless you are holding everyone back.

Let's go with optional. No one uses a parser. Good luck clearing a lot of the end-game content. Why? Because if there are people slacking, you can't tell who it is.
Mandatory? We now know who it is.

Who the hell parses hunts /dungeons and harasses people? While yes it's possible that's hardly the environment it occurs in.

Because my progression is my own. Once again why should I be forced to live up to someone else's expectations of me? I pay 15$ a month to enjoy the game the way I see fit. I'll be damned if you're going to tell me how to play my role because you use a 3rd party device to do so. Why can't you play the game without a parser? Why can't you think for yourself for once and see what you are doing wrong with your own eyes?

The reason people fail is because nobody has the damn patience to teach people. People like you who don't stand for nothing less than perfection were new to fights at one point. You are no prodigy, everyone has a learning curve. You fail to understand the fact that if a parser is used in a party wide situation it will be used to harass and kick players out of parties due to low number count.

The swing goes both ways honey. If you have forgotten that with a parser comes a malicious attitude towards those with lower skill levels, this harassment is what SE has been and always will avoid. The game isn't about numbers. It's about having fun with your friends and enjoying what value the game provides to you. You clearly can't see this due to your black and white perspective between elite and casual players.
