The content is new. PUG still hasn't decided on basic assignments (ie: In secure, it's become expected party A goes to left flag, B middle, C right).

In Slaughter everyone's just heading up top and trying to 'steal kill.'

By that i mean they focus node, and when they notice a random enemy's health drop 50%~ or so they switch to them in hopes of getting the final hit to score the kill. This does not work.

1) No one else targets them: So it's very likely they are not bursted in unison. A fast Cure 1 won't top them off, but it would enough to keep your burst from killing them; now you've just wasted all your CDs with nothing to show for it. Also, they're probably not CC'd so they can just retreat to break range.

2) Everyone else does targets them: There's 72 players up top. If you're hoping to land the final kill, there's only 1/48 you will. And a 50% chance the kill is going to an opposing team.

Steal kill is an ineffective gamble, but from I've seen it's the only method PUG is interested in. Heaven's forbid a PUG group would use a 1 marker or an /assist macro for easy and coordinated targeting.
