While not my favorite content, the Hildebrand story has been rather enjoyable. My favorite part has to be the Battle on the Big Bridge Trial.

I will admit that I probably would feel mildly disappointed if there was no continuation for Hildebrand in the future. Now back to farming Dragon's Neck & Big Keep for the Ultros and Enkidu minions.

I see your petition picked up a whopping 5 more supporters in the past week or so. Meanwhile, the hundreds of likes on the first few posts in that thread will be more than adequate to let Square Enix know that the vast majority of the playerbase (well, the part of it that uses the forums, anyway) does not agree with you. Thanks again for putting that thread together so that the developers can understand what we really want. ^^

Justin Bieber has 2.7 million likes on his Baby video while Rachmaninoff's 3rd played by Argerich does not even have 10k. I guess, judging from the number of likes, this means Baby is a work of genius and Rachmaninoff's 3rd is garbage.

I enjoy Hildi but fallacies don't belong here.

Yes I spend most of my time face palming during the Hildibrand storyline but I understand the need for humor to balance out what is an otherwise very serious game.

Like Ultros in Final Fantasy 6, Hildibrand is the bright spot that reminds us to laugh even though Eorzea is falling down around us.

Well.. to be fair, their thread is a 'don't spend time doing Hilde, spend it doing elite endgame raid stuff' which to be honest doesn't have as much 'fanbase' as say casual Hildy does.

Still I'm firmly on team 'let him go already'. I really HATE having to do the hildebrand quests just to keep my daily roulettes open. They are dumb and beyond silly and I do not care for them...like I just don't get the hildy love. (seriously I hated them in 1.0....why for the love of the 12 did they bring him back). That's not to say I think they should spend more time on endgame etc...I'd actually prefer we left Hildebrand behind and got NEW 'casual Hildebrand-esk' content in its place.

But therein lies the problem with using the 'see your side is losing' comeback. In a 'Save Hildy' thread OF course most people will want it to continue. And it's fine that you do....but that doesn't mean everyone playing wants it to continue...or cares if it does. But the opinions of team 'let him go' vary greatly on if/what should replace him should he not return. Personally, I don't care if he stays...just STOP making me do it so I can unlock roulettes.

I would like fresh new stories . Not same stuff over and over.
That goes for both Hildi and the current horrible MSQ.

Ill forgive SE for now since they had no choice to rush the hell out of this game, due to 1.0 flop. But come expansion we should not be getting the same handful of storylines every patch.

Let Hildi rip or at least become a much smaller side quest in expansion. Not the second largest story content. Its not for everyone and its not very final fantasy either (its more japanese anime humor).

I do hope they continue with Hildibrand. The story line is a break from the serious story line that is in progress and I'm sure will continue. Also, how can you bring in Mom and just leave her like that!?! She's awesome, (I have the same boots glamoured as well!) Mom is awesome and it seems we know who wears the "pants" in the family. I want to see more of Mom!

I can see the point of having to deal with the instance to open up the roulette but in the end it really isn't a big deal. The fights are fun. I like fun! Need something to balance out all the "business at hand."
