You can edit posts to bypass the limit.
Queue problems are based on player Class/GC distribution, Rank Balance and Queuing population.
Gear Sync is one of the things keeping FLs alive and semi-balanced. A difference of 10 ilevels between two characters is fairly extreme.2. Remove gear sync
Rated Matches are not really effective unless they occur from a point where everything else is equal or nearly equal and only player skill and ability are the only things important.3. Rated matches: A simple solution to the gear sync is to make rated and unrated matches
Duels do not work with the current class balance unless it is between characters that share the same (sub)role and even then there are problems.4. Duels
Would only extend matches out, and as Domira says a healers currently already outputs more healing than a single dps can beat.5. 25% damage decrease across the board
Decreasing the recast time on Purify might be better. You do save it for that don't you?7. Sleep nerf: At the MAX it should only last 5 seconds. Sleeping a whole team for half the match is broken.
The Drones and Nodes are there to make the matches tactical and allow for turnarounds. If they were not then Secure matches would come down to which team was the first to hold 3 flags and get a sufficient lead.11. Remove pve elements: I came here to kill players, not drones.
Might be good.12. New/smaller maps
The Queue penalty is there to punish players who are not paying attention and those players trying to fish for certain things.14. Remove queue penalty: Sometimes you're waiting for 10-20mins. This helps no one, why is this even a thing?

[1] Hm... I guess so. But if gear sync continues to be a thing whats the point of pvp gear? Its useless then.[1]Gear Sync is one of the things keeping FLs alive and semi-balanced. A difference of 10 ilevels between two characters is fairly extreme.
[2]Rated Matches are not really effective unless they occur from a point where everything else is equal or nearly equal and only player skill and ability are the only things important.
[3]Would only extend matches out, and as Domira says a healers currently already outputs more healing than a single dps can beat.
[4]Decreasing the recast time on Purify might be better. You do save it for that don't you?
[5]The Drones and Nodes are there to make the matches tactical and allow for turnarounds. If they were not then Secure matches would come down to which team was the first to hold 3 flags and get a sufficient lead.
[6]The Queue penalty is there to punish players who are not paying attention and those players trying to fish for certain things.
[2] There isnt much room for "skill" honestly. And I dont think everything has to be 100% equal to work. A little imbalance is fine as long as its not game breaking ... like meteor.
[3] Yes, thats the point. Sorry, I didnt know that, perhaps healing can be adjusted with it?
[4] Yes, but its worthless, the cd is too long. I cant tell you how many times I've purified a sleep, only to be slept again, and meteored to death.
[5] Matches can be tactical without pve elements. Slaughter feels more like a very chaotic raid, rather than pvp. And isnt that the point of capture the flag? Ironically, this makes it less tactical, as players dont have to rely on analysis and calculation to win, they just go "ZERG DRONE FOR POINTS!!!"
[6] Again, not helping.

PvP gear has fewer dead stats and is more likely to sync down to the stat cap. For example, a Summoner seeking to get as close to +234 Crit/ +164 Det while synced wants the following PvP items to be BiS: Elkliege/Elkhorn Hat, Elkhorn Gloves, Elkliege Slops, Elkliege Thighboots, and Werewolf Choker of Casting.
The whole point of the Elo rating System which Rated Matches are a part of is to measure skill.[2] There isnt much room for "skill" honestly. And I dont think everything has to be 100% equal to work. A little imbalance is fine as long as its not game breaking ... like meteor.
Extending the time it takes to for someone kill is not necessarily a good thing. DoWs already start running into TP problems in extended melee fights. The only ones whom would benefit are those classes that have infinite TP/MP resources such as BLM and SCH/SUM.[3] Yes, thats the point. Sorry, I didnt know that, perhaps healing can be adjusted with it?
Sleep is annoying, but it sound more like the real problem is cometeor.[4] Yes, but its worthless, the cd is too long. I cant tell you how many times I've purified a sleep, only to be slept again, and meteored to death.
I'm sorry, but Slaughter would be unlikely to be different if the drones were not there and nothing else was changed. Slaughter has problems due to how a bunch of stuff was implemented. The PvE elements are not a bad thing despite what some people want to think. To many people define PvP as PKing.[5] Matches can be tactical without pve elements. Slaughter feels more like a very chaotic raid, rather than pvp. And isnt that the point of capture the flag? Ironically, this makes it less tactical, as players dont have to rely on analysis and calculation to win, they just go "ZERG DRONE FOR POINTS!!!"
Sorry, but we got a minor inconvenience from a software change to actively make things better elsewhere. The Queue penalty does not effect most players and prevents a lot more problems that were caused by those it inconveniences If you get 3+ failed confirmations it is on you.[6] Again, not helping.
