Ever since I had my alliance completely zerg male and/or flames from behind at start everyone seems to hate on adders...... I don't get it.god I wish I had recorded these runs.
My biggest problem with PvP is the nodes/drones in the secure and slaughter modes. Having those nodes completely defeats the purpose of those game modes, you don't have to actually secure the bases in secure just make sure you get the nodes and that isn't the point of those game types, same with slaughter the point is to kill each other not fight over who gets some stupid nodes. If they would just remove those I would actually be happier with PvP. I mean why even have the different game modes just have a destroy the node game and that's all.
Also I think heals need to be nerfed a bit in PvP it sucks when someone can be healed from almost no life to full in one heal basically.
Holding 3 flags (4 points every 3 seconds) for 90 seconds gives as many points as killing all 6 drones (20 points each) in a set. 4 sets of Drones and the Node only gives your side 680 points if you take them all in a 72 man. Not any easy thing to do you are more likely to get an average of 2 of them per set with a 33% chance of getting the Node which ends up giving closer to 226 points from drones/nodes in the average match. In comparison holding 2 flags for the 15 minutes it takes all of those drones to spawn nets 600 and holding 3 nets a whooping 1200 points.
I've seen more Secure matches lost due to the inability of Parties A and C to hold Temples/Markets/Manors than I've seen won because of B killing drones while not protecting the Outpost. I've actually noticed an increase in number of victories in Secure matches when I'm a member of B because I started hanging back a guarding the OP as a Paladin. Loosing a flag is serious damage.
The Node catches attention because taking it can secure a lead or close up a close match. Killing the Drones/Node is advantageous but not the most important thing to do.

Yeah, the Adder hate is real. After my team completely DOMINATED slaughter mode Mael and Flames teamed up and hit us with nonstop meteors and wiped my entire team. We went from a huge lead to a loss but it was still pretty hilarious.

Also the melee LB is pretty strong but if you play it right its easily survivable, with all my cds up I've stalemated melee 3v1 as a SCH. But if I have even one essential cd down I'm dead lol.
I like that currently pvp rewards you with some soldiery and poetics. It means that the hours I'm spending on pvp don't just net me pretty gear useless for PVE, but will eventually make me small amounts of money or even help me gear out my classes in PVE gear. Its a good system.
