I think the premises is still to fight as a Full party, not to lone wolf it. healers will still play a vital role in keeping kills off the other team's scoreboard, and keeping the DPS buffed with their extra damage %, you wont lose it if you don't die, and it will still be the job of tanks, dps to protect those healers. Concerning caster LBs; again if you fight as a group, the caster should be able to pull off a CC(as a blk mage, I usually SC Feeze, then sleep, the LB) to ground" a group before casting his/her LB. I think the new mode is a great addition to the somewhat limited PVP options
Well, just a first sight, beeing a tank is pretty close to beeing useless. Never felt that way since my first 4 vs 4 match.
By the way, 1dps lb = kill
Great argument, you leave me without words, u could try saying why you think i'm wrong, if you've played more matches maybe i could learn something, but oh well, its better to be a badass.
As i said it was a FIRST SIGHT, maybe 5 matches later I change my opinion. I don't know if we were in front of pre-made party's or what, but yea, it felt that way, so messed up.
I don't have a tank leveled, but maybe I can make some suggestions, some of which you already may know.
- Buy strength accessories. Wolfs Den has some great PVP ones and there's no more rank requirement for i90 ones. With the lvl synch to i80 you have a lot of viable options
- Protect your healers by harassing whoever's harassing them. People will be all over them stunning them and otherwise interrupting their attempts to cast heals. If you have a healer with you and you see debuffs and low hp amongst the party members with you, then chances are multiple players are impeding their ability to do their job and they'll appreciate whatever support you can give them.
- If your team's healers don't need the support, use your stuns/crowd control abilities against the other teams's healers. This is the more common and obvious objective for Warriers/Paladins, but IMO are both important.
Adrenaline needs to replace limit break in any pvp instance.
