I don't know. I just feel like there's no way they didn't prepare something for healers so they'd also have a way of gaining points ( That doesn't have to do with DPS-ing ).

To the people who think healers won't be the most essential foundation of groups in this mode(as they have been in both iterations we have gotten of pvp so far) - have you not been pvping at all in this game?
If you are 2v2 and you have 2 dps/tank and the other has 1 dps/tank and 1 healer the group with the healer will win guaranteed... this applies to any group size ofc
This is, of course, unless they are making some severe balance changes which probably won't happen.
Might want to check that guarantee, because I've seen that situation play out plenty of times and a lot of the time two DPS just melt the healer before crushing the DPS. Bad healer? Sure, welcome to 90% of the healers in non-premades.
I agree, healers are still important for points-denial, but they are effectively being nerfed with Slaughter. Playing healer is bad enough in Secure, Slaughter will be giving players 10~50% extra damage, as well as Haste and individual Limit Breaks... Good healers are rare enough, Slaughter is going to make the role even more unpopular I think... Depending on how quickly Adrenalin builds, Bard might even be able to somewhat replace healers by throwing out Empyrean Rain frequently. I can actually see Bard stacking being a problem now... Healer LB on Bard actually seems quite OP when the LB is individual...

This. Healers will be essential. Healers will be as important for "point denial" in this as they were for securing flags in the old one. Of course situations will vary, but healers are going to be just as important... just not in a "Stalemate the flag" kind of way.

Not all but a good portion of dps think healers are there slave and are there to increase there kill count. i think you din't realy understand what it mean, it don't get rid of the healers, them still needed, this will just give advantage to the winer, the killing system and the invidual LB system as well.
you wan't healer because you don't wan't your mate to die and give your openent the bonus to have kill you. it's not realy anything to remove healers stacking.
this is more something to buff a group already winning, it's strange, i have see more often comeback mechanics than that^^, for exemple the nodes is a comeback mechanics

Sure, all i was saying is the preferred group meta that is currently used on FL will remain the same, unless again of course they change class balance drastically. I'm sure there will be crap games because of shortage of healers in your gc and all that stuff.Not that healers won't be important.
